Permanent Residence
We received null ********* application for permanent residence on June 12, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

What's the meaning of null there
anybody idea :

Null means that the first name field was left N/A so they put Null. Nothing to worry though as long as the full name appears.

I think u r one of the luckyones who completed whole process fast. Coz there r still quite a few applications before u still waiting.

This question is out of curiosity only
Do you think theres a difference between case processing times for canadian citizen sponsors and permanent resident sponsors
I have heard some people say that its faster for canadian citizen sponsors
But it does not really make much sense to me why that would be the case.
Any comments???

Could it be possible that the reason why cic is re-sending the letter requesting the same docs on November.18 because i submitted on Oct. 23rd and all Oct.20 after files haven't been in process yet.

Do you know when we fill forms in computer then in the end we press Validate button all forms generate Bar Codes.So our whole info is saved into those bar codes
When cic receieve our file they use scanning machine to put information in computer offcourse they don't want our private information to be leaked to some data entry people...and also to fast the process...you know how much staff they would have to hire to look at forms and type on computers and it looks like scanning mistake or some form validation mistake.....scanner did not find anything instead of name so it picked null.....so they might have found name somewhere else...otherwise person would be notified and file would be returned

It doesn't matter. What matters is how fast officer get convinced that relationship is genuinely. Also background chech and travel history.

And most important to be lucky. Caz many applications r still IP eventhough all above is straight up.

If he doesnt have a last name, then his first name was submitted as last name.This is done because papers need a last name to be valid. So first name they leave blank which shows as "NULL"
meaning none/blank and then last name shows up on the documents.
Hope that made sense!!

Have you sent Medical along with your Application as your medical is in April and application is in May??

1 December is the deadline for Jan intake and load of student applications are very heavy in this month like end of November ...for Jan intake I guess half million applications...NDVO is not a Big building and I heared 180 Visa officer work there...so you might be 100% Correct...now people don't say they will have different department for immigration section and also VFS only sort applications for Visa Officer VFS is application manager Firm for NDVO and other embassies so they can follow easy order of documents for every applications and keep the record ...all data entering jobs

Congratulations to those who got shiny visas.

I wanted guidance if anybody has same case. We did our engagement function on little large scale but marriage was in arya samaj with just 2 witnesses. should we put engagement invitation card in our evidences or just specify that we invited close relatives and close friends by phone call considering there was no invitation card for marriage?? inputs please.. Thank you.

Hey Man dont leave anything means anything...every single email...any screenshot of phone..put everything....make 1 good cards specially pay to card maker 1000 rupee...what's wrong...put whatever you have even any gift take the photo of that ....you understand me...you have got chance to submit things....and submit more and more
