My sponsorship got approved on July 04th 2013,and Mississauga office send to NDVO, Since then it says

Client Application Status
FAQ | Security
Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on July 4, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

It does not say that they received Passport or PCC Sad does some has any idea about it ? why it did not get updated ?.

Please let me know really frustrated..

I need you inputs on below query. My passport is about to expire so we are submitting it for renewal so my application was sent with my parents family name but after renewal we are thinking to change it my spouse family name. So will this create trouble??

Hello Everyone,

I know that the visitor visa application get rejected 99% because we have already applied for PR. However, what about if you good reason to apply for visitor visa?

I have applied for my wife in January 2014 but she has to write her pharmacy exam here in Canada in early July. I know she won't make it here by July, 2014.

Is possible to apply for visitor visa with all supporting document. I have to pay around $500 to have her write exam in July. Any thought anyone?

anyone who knows about this query which i asked...as CIC agent said we cant apply outland till inland application is cancelled..which may take 16 weeks.
I am highly depressed...feel like a complete idiot why did i leave canada..

back with another query. Since i had filed for inland application for which we have sent email to CIC to withdraw it due to the fact I traveled out of country. It shows in process.
Even tho my husband sent them an email that we are withdrawing application as we will file it as outland . And the fools sent a letter saying your case is under process.
So my question is :
1. Can we or cant we file an outland application right now ? Do we need to wait for withdrawal of application first ? and only then go ahead file it . or it can be withdrawal in process and outland can be filed.

2. since its shows in process does it mean will i get any refund or no.

please if someone can answer this ..

Now in February they returned his passport to send his police certificate clearance from the country he had visited which are uk and India he stayed in USA less then 6 months so he shouldn't be sending a Pcc from there. And they want his medical basically his documents are expired. I have been keeping in touch with my mp for the past one year he helps but there is very ill anyone can do . I dun know how long more I have to wait. He even wrote a seperate letter telling them he was in a country at when he was there. They haven't even started security check and background check for one year I dun even know if they have even started it yet. What are they doing why are they taking this long.

I applied for sponsorship on Feb 10th, 2014. Application received 13th feb, 2014.
Decision made March 10th, 2014. File sent to NEW DELHi.

My spouse lives in India and we submitted PCC and Medicals with our application.

What time frame should I expect?

Hello everyone,

My husband is a Canadian citizen and my PR application has been submitted by him on march 3rd, 2014. Meanwhile , I am planning to apply with for student visa.

Should I mention about my PR application , while applying for the student visa. If yes , where exactly ? No where in the application form they ask for it. There is something called SOE (Statement of explanation) where I need to specify why I chose Canada. Should I mention my husband being there as one reason ? or should I hide that fact ?

hi there.. i know it can be frustrating, I lived in australia and new zealand prior to becoming a PR in canada, and I had a friend who lived in the UK for 2 years, unfortunately, having lived in other countries causes considerable delays, but i feel u r almost there, you should be getting it soon. good luck

@Manubobby, it's great to hear that you have at least received your passport request. I think the passport request process has got delayed. You received your file transfer update on the 10th of Jan and got a PPR on the 24th of Jan, which is two weeks and now I think it's got delayed! DK1212 also has not received their PPR!!

yea.. from what i understand, i think i was one of the final applicants who got their passport request along with AOR, after that most people are getting their AOR only, and i think they are doing that coz of the delay in application processing time now and that they have been holding the passport for several months and in order to avoid that they are not requesting for passport and i am assuming they might request for passport when it changes to in process, that is how it used to work for PR applicants when I applied for my PR last year.
