Hi Guys: I am May-2015 applicant.
Does anyone know, when we receive the notification that your file has been transferred to NDVO. So, does it mean physical transfer or electronic transfer of the file?

Thanks.

Congrats to ALL who received their ppr. Wish you a all a bright future ahead!

I hope NDVO also clears the backlog for people who have been waiting since April. Common how long does it can take to issue visa after receiving the medical >:( >:( >:( >:(

First wait for interview letter, then wait for ppr....this wait is driving me crazy ....17 months is enough. Take your ass off our file and finish this BS!

WOW! Your timeline is way beyond. Correct me if I am wrong. You are April 2014 applicant and today is October 29th 2015. Have you contacted cic lately?

Fiza -I think you will hear very soon from CIC as it takes average 45 days from Remed to PPR.Don't worry you should receive PPR very soon:)

Hope you and all the applicant get your ppr asap. But please contact cic if no response sooner because your time limit was 15 months and you have that time period. I also see that you have done your medical recently but still its way to long.

;D

Thank you very much. Good luck. I'm sure you will get yours soon.

Hi fellow husbands & wives,

First of all Congratulations to all lucky people who got DM and PPR and shiny shiny visa. Those who are still waiting, Good Luck you are next. ;D

Few things to share.

I had ordered notes on Sept. 22, 2015 got notes in email on Oct. 21, 2015. Just as I thought, it shows nothing started. Only medical passed. Notes were generated on Sept. 30, 2015. But still notes showed updated date of Oct 01, 2015. How would notes generated on Sept. 30, 2015 would have an update date of Oct 01, 2015 on the notes? Also funny thing is that I got IP from Oct. 02, 2015.

Other thing is that my wife received additional document request :( on Oct. 16, 2015. They want some more wedding photos showing some rituals, reception photos of guest having meal ::), post marriage sponsor visit info/photos (which I did mention in initial application and did visit my wife for her birthday), and more post marriage communication (guess around 200 pages of communication proof wasn't enough).

So I guess this additional docs request will add 2-3 months to our timeline. :'(
I have been little busy with preparing all documents. Also they didn't mention address where to send and how to send. Can anyone guide me with that? Thanks

The thing that worries me most is the request about more wedding photos. Our wedding ceremony was arranged on very small level with only attendees being close family members and few friends. Though we had valid reason for it (close family member of my wife was critically ill and passed away later). So we had very small wedding and did not have professional photographers there either (I know we should have called them). Because of that we do have wedding photos but not covering all rituals. Photos were taken by family members and friends who supposedly knew about photography.

I am really worried that I won't be able to provide those photos and VO will count it as negative and may reject the application. :'( :( ???

Everything else I can provide easily. Have easily around 60-70 photos from visit of under a month's time. Have around 300 pages of post marriage communication proof (viber, whatsapp, skype, long distance calling etc.)

Please help.

Congrats, guys!

Reading your posts, I went to check our status and email, hoping for a similar result. No such luck. :(

I wish they would hurry up with our case notes already...its almost been 30 days. Those notes will really help explain why we're stuck on IP for the past 2.5 months.

I wondered if maybe they've put us into the interview queue, but I hope not. But if they did, why would NDVO have called us 6 weeks ago asking if my wife was in Canada, and if she would be able to do her landing entry at the US border? The lady made it sound like our file was almost done. It doesn't make any sense to me!

Thanks a lot. I'm sorry for your wait. I see you haven't received remedical request, yet. It's easier to calculate the wait game after remedicals. But again, your wife is with you, so I guess that eases out the stress.
I hope you hear from NDVO soon. All the best.

Hi, all,
For all those you have received their passports back with the visa, can I please know how long is the visa valid for? Thanks.

How many pics did you send in your initial application?
Relax, they cant reject application just like that. If they have doubt there will be an interview and you need to convince with you reason face to face. Dont lie. Give same reasoning even if they ask 100 times.

We sent little over 80 photos all together. We followed my brother's advice (as he had gone through spousal sponsorship process in 2009) and didn't submit more photos/info even though we had it.
After that I learned about this forum.
