Any 7th October 2014 Applicants get any updates?

I am 26 Nov, 2014 Indian applicant and I had lived in Canada for more than 6 months on valid student visa in the past, CLEAN TRAVEL HISTORY and we had already submitted Canada PCC from RCMP along with India PCC in our spouse PR application.

My QUESTION to those who had travelled & stayed abroad for more than 6 months and had submitted foreign travel ... PCC from RCMP Canada or FBI USA

' How much more time New delhi visa office will take for criminality background check, If applicant had travelled or stayed in any foreign country travel (more than 6 months time-period) ?

No I didn't order notes.....with the hope that soon NDVO makes changes in my file status from ip to dm. Moreover, as discussed and seen from d posts in our forum, generally two to three months can go for ip to dm after medical reassessment. Yea surely I'll update d info for application status change.....

There is generally a lot of questions recently about remedical and NDVO as slowed down and a lot of people's medical is expiring before they go PPR. In generally, if you are sep/oct/nov applicants, i would recommend you wait for your remed letter as you would enter IP and it seems the remed letter are issued quickly around that time.

As for individuals who are april-july'ish ones whose med have expired over 2-3 months now with no remedical request, jsut get it done and send it to NDVO. This is what happened in my case, the med expired, waited a long time, went for it ourselves and got a full remed. After going IP, they sent us the remed request and i sent a case specific inquiry letting them know that we had already sent an updated new medical and got a reply back from NDVO after a month stating that they have received the new med and to ignore the request letter they sent. exactly a month from that email, we got PPR. so, from IP to DM/PPR for us is around 2.5 months which seems to be the standard time lately.

Remember that without a valid, NDVO will never issue a PPR or actual visa. They extend it before *it expires* to accomadate your travel but i doubt they extend after it has already expired. So, try to keep your medical always valid for you files to move forward.

HI Guys,
on my passport request i sent my passport on april 8 and informed CIC of my marriage and wishing to add my spouse to my application. i sent my spouse details by may 30. Have got mail from delhi immigration that the document was ready for final review 15 days ago. can somebody please tell me how long will it take for medicals and passport request?. my passport have still struck up with visa office.
