Hi m October 2014 Applicant. I got married in April. My husband is Canadian PR. It has been 16 months we got married and I didn't met my husband after that. He went to canada in July 2014 after marriage. My status is still AR MR. Now we r planning to apply for visitor visa. Can any one guide me regarding that. Does it have any affect on my spouse immigration file. Pls share or experiences. M very much depressed.

Hi, first of all don't be depressed, I know it's tough but stay positive, we all should hear something hopefully soon. I applied for my husband in Oct14 as well, we got married in Sept14. Not sure if there is an option for your husband to come visit you in India again, I stayed in India until end of Oct14 and went back in Jan15 because being apart for three months was too long for me (and we found out we were pregnant so we didn't want to be apart during that time). As for applying for the visitor visa, it will not affect your immigration file. I came back to Canada May15, two months before our baby was born, me and my husband thought of applying for visitor visa as well so he could be here for the birth of his baby but decided not to because we thought he would have to go back to give his passport in India once immigration file was approved. Since being on this forum, I have come to know that there may be an option for you to give your passport to Ottawa instead of going back to India (you will need to look into that). Hopefully this helps you make a decision, good luck!

I heard ndvo are busy in processing student visa & express visa. Aren't student visas should be done by now? Anyone is in process after interviewed and re-medical and pcc? Some said it takes 3 to 4 months for ppr after in process. :'(

Hii mannat i think ur process is delay bcoz u hv not done remedical before interview

How am I supposed to live my life? ndvo take us out of this mess....even frustration seems small word to describe what we are going through

Dont get frustrated guys...everything is happening only for ur goodness, plz do not panik. Enjoy ur days in india coz once all reached canada u ll miss ur days back. I would suggest to everyone that get busy in entertainment or what ever you love to do...i promise ur process ll move faster than u expected...coz u ll get busy to that extent that u wont have time to think about ur file...n suddenly u get the news abt ppr or any other +ve status.....

But nw with that I m confused with the same, as per news NDVO is on sept'14 files already, would it be wise enough to wait it out, also there are two opinions on visitor visa, coz some say it's okay, while some say it delays the PR process...???

Also as Have read in the forum previously that one can submit passport at Ottawa in case in Canada on visitors... But does that also depend on the immigration officer to grant a permission to do so...? Or it's usually allowed.....

Soooo confused.... Somebody put some light of hope and positivity on my mind....

As i think you have to wait till end of the August maybe you will receive any updates and if not then you can apply for visitor visa

I am also October applicant and hardly waiting for the month of August Hope we get good news in shaa Allah...

And they have written to submit the additional documents at the below address with the form provided.

However there is not form attached nor any address stated below.

Does any one with the similar case hav the form and the address...??

Application recieved : October 2014, 8th
Sponsorship approval received : November 11, 2014
2nd UCI received : 27th November ,2014
Medical was done upfront dated : August 18th 2014

Status : AR / MR

I got my notes today.. but of mo use.. coz they havent touched my file since 8th may,, the day my case went in process.. security n criminality nt started yet.. i dont know wat they r upto.. wen i got mail fr reassesment, they said me to revert back in 7 days.. n i did dat in 5 days.. but they didnt do anything after dat too...
