After 21 months of sheer wait and anticipation, my husband got his PR visa back stamped in his passport. Thank u every one for the support....i pray that all of u hear something positive back soon!!!

Is it just me or has anyone noticed from some of the recent posts that NDVO is starting to request for re-medical after in-process..

I think so, seems they are buying time by letting medicals expire and then slowly, in leasure time checking spousal applications.
With current speed these rascales may touch all sep applications. In next 20-30 years.

I got GCMS notes today..
according to which

eligibility is passed
medical passed
criminality and security not started
notes were generated on 11th May, 2015
My status is "in process" otherwise .


how much time it will take for criminality and security assessments???

Guys,
Out of curiosity,how many days it takes for VFS to deliver the passport to Delhi & bring it back to the home branch office of VFS. Also,is there any fee for submitting the passport?? Any update or information would be appreciated. My brother will submit the passport to the office today in VFS Mumbai, so I want to be sure he carries enough cash with him.

you should call up the local vfs office and ask these questions. they usually answer over the phone (at least when we tried in our area). To answer your querstions, i think some of them have gotten back within a few days upto 10-15 days. there is a fee, you might be able to find that out on their website too about it.

cant say anything with NDVO. it seems you have the IP since may 20th which is around when we went into IP as well. keep us posted of your progress here.

After 5 weeks finally got a useless reply from Mp that ur file is within processing time... No need to worry.... Bla bla..... It's going to be an year on June 26.... I wish ndvo can understand what they are doing to people waiting for their ppr out in the world

after that there is no email from delhi immigration office i have already submitted my medical but now its validity is over can any one please tell me wen can i expect remedical request and how much more time it will take to get visa

I applied in july 2014....and the application was transferred to ndvo in sep 2014.... thrs no movement since then!!!
Its so depressing...also affecting my career with the personal life...
Will application to trv help...by any chance!!!

Sad to know your situation. Stronger ties with India = better chances of trv

today i hv finished 6 months of being in process.....god knows when it wl gt over....anyone hv any idea how long can a file be in process??????
is dat possible dat after remedical...they agn ask for 3rd medical....as d remedical wl aslo expire in dec.....
my mind has stopped thinking...only useless things r left.....wake up ndvo
