NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

Hi all forum members!
I just wanted to share my.timeline with u guys...im an afghan and all afghans files are processed in India now!
Applied September 2013 file was transferred to Islamabad, Pakistan.
January 2014 file got transferred to NDVO.
June 2014 I got a remedical.
Jule 29, 2014 i got a PPR and it says visa is ready for issuance and have 30 days to.send passport to us...
So can anyone tell me how much more time i have to expect in order to get my passport back from NdVO with visa stamped? Anyone with answer please tell me!

you can expect your passport back within 30 to 45 days. Also consider delay in mail delivery.

Things in my file i shared the details rest u can confirm with other members too. It surely help you. Because the check list which i got in which it is mention to notarized the marriage certificate and passport all pages.

May I know which checklist you are referring to ? Its very important all of us share the right information here. it causes undue tension for those
who get misguided. it is surely a waste of money and precious time to do things which are not really required.

yes u r right sheen...v hav to gt it notarised.... my lawyer also told me that to do so... mine wr also notarised each n every copy..

talk to a lawyer or consultant. But as per what i know you will get PR within a year (many have got within 6 months - check ottawa forum) applying from US Consulates if there are no complications.

In india however, 9 month is the current trend. As others pointed out, they are changing the procedures - so no one really knows what is the current procedure.

Ok . My issue is I am in USA on student visa and it will expire in August 2015.My husband is Canadian citizen and lives in Canada. We will be filing my application in Aug 2014 so considering which VO to choose.
NDVO, if it request for passport right away in couple of months then i will have to leave everything and move back to India. I can still choose VO as Ottawa as the website says VO to select in country of nationality or where you have been legally admitted for at least one year so i am confused what to do.Any suggestions?

The current processing time for NDVO is abt 13 months. At present they are processing Nov/Dec'13 files and we can expect them to start processing 2014 files in about a months time or so. Good luck!

Yes it has been provided to me n my husband by our lawyer. U can tel me how to share that i will do? I have a hardcopy of that.

Hi Guys,

Don't worry so much. By god's grace the 2013 applications are processing very well and they are catching up to 2014 applications quickly. God willing Jan applications can expect end of August for In Process, and Feb Applications in end of Sept. Stay positive. It's been difficult for all of us staying apart but God will hear our prayers.

me forwarded my application again to Newdelhi for adding my wife after getting my visa bcz i couldn't land there before marriage. can any one tell me how much time it ill take? its already 60 days. do i have to wait for long?
