Hi Guys,

I am planning to apply for PR.
I am currently working in Hyderabad, but my permanent residence is in New Delhi.

I was thinking to get my medical done in Hyderabad, any suggestions?
Would that be fine?

THanks!

Hello Pranay,

In which category u r going to apply, this forum is for family class. In family class u can submit ur medicals along with ur application, but as per the current trend it is better to do medicals once u receive request from NDVO.

Hi Everyone,
I am new to this New Delhi forum. I had applied for spousal visa in Jan. 2015 and received SA in March 2015 and my file was transferred to New Delhi. Now I have received this letter from New Delhi visa office:
We have received your application for permanent residence in Canada and have created a file with the file number indicated above. Please quote this file number in all future correspondence with our office.
In order to expedite the processing of your application, we are requesting that you provide the following as soon as possible:
· Proof of payment of your Right of Permanent Resident Fee (landing fee) to our office in Mississauga or by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid. Note: dependent children are not required to pay the Right of Permanent Resident Fee.
·.....................................

But now we have already paid landing fee and submitted police clearance certificate and the supplementary information forms too. So I am just wondering what do I need to do in this case. Have any of you guys received this sort of letter from Visa office.

Please help me out here guys.

Thank you,
Amit

Hi Amit,
Can you please tell the dates of your visa application and when you received AOR?
Thanks

So I had sent my application on Jan. 8th and received my AOR on march 22nd.
Have you guys received this sort of letter?
From my understanding, this is a second AOR but just wanted to make sure what do I need to do? I have already given the things they asked for so I guess I can ignore this email, seems like a standard email they send to everyone.
But please let me know if thats not the case.
Thanks

then you do not need to do anything , you will notice that they said submit the pcc and do the payment if applicable . in your case , you have already sent , so you are fine .

Hi,

Can anyone tell me the list of all the documents required by me and my sponsor ( MPNP - Family Support stream ) as the 30th April date is approaching, just avoiding re- submission of my application. Not sure what documents should i have or my sponsor should have for a smooth processing of my application. I would appreciate any help on this.

Thanks and Regards,
Phoenix

Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask a couple of questions about visitor visa

- Is it preferable to apply online or in person ?

- Since there is no appointment system in New Delhi VAC office does it take a long time in the queue to submit the application ?

- Finally, do we have to use the VFS Global Services or just apply directly ?

Thanks,

Answers to your questions are as follows:

a) In person. Online itseems has document limitation issues while uploading and considering the mountain of paper work that is required, it's best if u apply online.

b)How long it takes: Well, I don't know what to tell you or how to react- just be patient and wait in the queue; your turn will come and it could/will take as long as it takes. After all you are going to Canada, don't you want to spend some time in VFS office and see the excitement and the way things work there? It's difficult for any one to give you an accurate timeline as to how long it takes. One day there may be a long queue and next day there may be none. So just go with the flow.

c)Use VFS. Go to VFS website and download a consent form, sign it and hand this form over to VFS without which they will not accept your application. Alternatively lookup on CHC's website and see if they accept it directly as well and if so, then it's your call. I would use VFS and that's what I suggested to my wifeeee too (to use VFS).

Hope this helps.

I think there is a disclaimer note written on PPR letter sent via email. Please let us know what it is (hope your PPR was via email and not phone).

There is no disclaimer form they just ask for passport photographs and current information .
