honestly dunno...whether IP for last 2 months is better than having a status which just says AR/MR.

guess both are equally worse !!! and it really depresses me when I see future applicants getting ip..dm's it gives sinking feeling to me for myself !
tho happy for those who are meeting their spouse after long wait !
my case is not even complicated but yes i do have a lot of travel history but besides canada i have never stayed anywhere else in world !

what is modus operandi of ndvo can someone tell me ...is like a matka systsem ..pick any month applicant and leave previous one ??

I'm the senior May applicant 8) Been waiting much longer All I can say, even though I don't myself believe it in much, don't worry its coming very soon! Any moment now!

OMG moment, status changed to "In Process" today.

Here is the timeline:

Application filed: End of June 2014.
Application Received at Mississauga Visa Office: July 4, 2014.
File Transfered to NDVO: August 25, 2014.
Right to Permanent Residence Fee & PCC request: Sep 5th, 2014
Started working on Application: Jan 24, 2015
Status Changed to In Process: January 27, 2015.

Can any one advise when can i expect to receive Passport Request?

Congratulations !

It looks like all July files must have been touched in beginning of month and processes initiated and now system is updating to In process. All hope is not lost. still NDVO is proceeding at rate of one month files every month

in such sadness i have to say my file will no be accessed as per to the original date i submitted Aug 25th, my ECAS status says receive date as Oct.23 it'll be 2 months delayed

whoever can change my info in the spreadsheet please do so..

Yes, what date does ur ECAS say..
Ever since CIC started giving AOR they changed on the receive date

can any body tell that what a success rate for visitor class. and
what is the best time for visitor visa and in case it get refused will it effect my file.

I would like to know the answer to this as well. Im getting two different answers from people - one say applying for visitor visa will delay the spousal PR for sure (if it gets approved or rejected) and others that say it has no effect on it.

Visitor visa does not affect ( and should not affect, logically speaking ) your PR processing.
I have read in this forum that the success rate is pretty slim. But there are spouses who were able to get the visitor visa.

Key things would be to show sufficient funds and that the spouse has a job / business/ college to return to. And the visit is temporarily to stay with spouse and tour Canada in summer. Make sure you have a cover letter. Also include copy of ur medicals.

Even if it gets rejected, it can be used as proof to show that u tried to be together.

Are you planning to include your SA with ur application ? SA takes about 85 days now.
You can mention that you have applied for PR and include fee receipts to show that u r taking steps for legal immigration.

I wonder if those who applied for visitor visa after marriage included details of their PR application. Anyone ?

Or did those apps get rejected because it appeared like spouse of a PR is trying to come into the country and has not yet applied for PR. that would seem like this person MAY not leave the country.

ofcourse they can search you in the system using ur first name, last name and DOB to see if u have a PR filed. but thats too much work. it would be easier to safely reject visitor visa right ?!!
so including ur UCI, File no, AOR and other proof of ur PR application is much better.
