hello guys , this might come as a shocker to you but an applicant who filed her application on 7th december 2013 have already received her visa 4-5 days ago. No clue what NDVO is upto ? The applicants husband is known to my in laws and is not on this forum but this is seriously no standard of NDVO issuing visa whilst august september & october applicants are still stranded . The Applicant hails from Karnal , haryana & am i trying to get in touch with her and update you guys with further informations.

I shall definitely agree to that !

At the current trends, it looks like WHEN NDVO feels like it they will ask. Ppl are Speculating OCT/NOV..

Many applicants are waiting for PPR before you ! As per the trend it'll Oct/Nov . Nothing is certain though , NDVO is full of surprises :P

according to cic.gc.ca they update processing times quarterly and last update was on march 10 ... arent they suppose to update ? its been more thn 3 months since last update ..

Hi Myrah! [flash=200,200]

We got married in 23 Jan 2014 and my husband is a PR of Canada. He filed a visa application for me on 16 June 2014, & we didn't got any acknowledgement from CIC , saying that they received our application as we can see the file is delivered to them. Its been a month now .. We sure that dox are correctly submitted.

So I just wanted to understood how long this process takes place, etc. :(... I hope u will advice me soon on this. As u understand its being hard to live without spouse.

Please do the needful.

Thanks
Sheena

It will take on an average 7-9 months from the date when you have submitted the application if all is going according to the trend.

Happy for the applicant, but agree that it is a shocker from ndvo.

hi guys,
please can anyone tell me, if it is a good idea to leave canada for a few months while the visa application for my spouse is still under process...her application has been forwarded to nvdo, and by the tym i leave, i believe a ppr will be also taking place before then(based on current trends)... thanx for your replies in advance,
sammy...

if you are leaving canada just for vacation or for few months, ideally it should not affect your sponsor application. you should be good to travel.

even i am travelling for 2 months after the file has been transferred to NDVO

for me it will be around 6 months.. please advice....

A canadian citizen can travel anytime when the application is in process . My wife have been staying in india since our marriage . Even when we filed the application she was in india. It should not be a problem to travel .
