Thanks for the reply. So we could assume we are working on June/July files.

One more question to you or anyone else: I checked on ECAS under the applicants file number and it says application received Oct 28th which is when I (sponsor) had sent the entire package.

Will this information change to reflect when the file was received in the visa office after SA or can we hope to hear anything at all?

The applicant should receive acknowledgement letter within 2 weeks from SA saying NDVO has file with file number details asking for Fees and PCC if not already paid or submitted. Your Ecas will also change and it will have 2 tabs, 1st Sponsorship - Decision Made
2nd - for Applicant - Application received.

Yeah Mine got updated in 1 Nov 2014 that interview is Recommended but till now no Communication.

I don't think they even mention this on ecas.....its only through notes/Mp inquiry people are coming to know about it.

Yes Fiza, i do understand that there will be no update on Ecas but they should atleast start scheduling the Interviews.

I don't know when they gonna move ahead with interview cases ... but for now i am planning to go to india to spend some time with spouse...Long distnce realationships are really hard n have many negetive impacts.

I completely understand....as these long wait times can take negative toll on relationship. Its the 'other' relatives that are more interested in your life than focusing on theirs make the matters worse.
I always thank to god that atleast my husband is understanding enough to not come in crap talks.......

I am also going to India at the end of this month to spend some quality time with my hubby and celebrate our very first anniversary. Hoping this wait time will end soon.

Yes... showing file number and asking for fees and pcc if not already submitted (System Generated email).

Donn't worry. it is good your file is in process....which means they have accepted that relationship is genuine. In case you don't hear anything from ndvo before end of this month, you can definitely submit an MP inquiry via your local MP

I think April applicants are badly stuck. As far as I know myself, Deep_Son, Payal9, Magicman......we all are still at AR/MR

Last I heard from magicman was going to get an interview. he did MP inquiry and got to know about it

My file is also pending...I am April applicant.

Fees to paid is $1040 rt?

It usually takes one day to get the MP inquiry. Search for your Local MP using google and send them an email or call them explaining your case status

They have assistants who can submit an inquiry right away to NDVO to get an update.

I think you dont have to do anything cause if you read the letter carefully it says at the end of each requirement sentence IF NOT ALREADY PAID AND IF NOT ALREADY SUBMITTED. So you are fine.its just an automated computer generated letter. So i think you don't have to do anyting... ...
