Hi,
I am a July 2014 applicant. I live in Toronto and am sponsoring my husband who lives in Mumbai. Been married for 8 years and last Feb 2014 decided to move to Toronto after living with my husband for 7 years in India with my daughter who is also a Canadian citizen like me. Please add me to your timeline:

Visa office: NDVO
Application filed: July 25, 2014
Medicals Done: June 30, 2014
Sponsorship approval and transferred: Sept 12, 2014
File created in NDVO: Sept 25, 2014
Received an email notification from NDVO regarding PCC and landing fees, after that just waiting...

I have a question here if someone can please kindly reply to me. My husband's passport expires in Sept 15, 2015. I know currently Delhi is touching on June applicants. Should I ask my husband to apply for a new passport and to get the PR visa the passport needs a validity of 6 months and if he receives a PPR by Feb/March his passport will still be valid but till March. Does applying for a new passport now cancels out his old passport and will that delay our file as on his application his current passport number is given. Please help!

I too have a similar problem as myp asport expires this April 2015! I would like others to help us out in this regard, PLease suggest..

My dearest frI ends,
I have questions, I changed my job last month. Do I need to submit my new job letter.
sometimes I think it's required.Sometimes I think its not required now because cic already determined my eligibility. Now only my hubby's process is left. I mean only indian verification is left. Please suggest me what should I do? bit confused....

Dunno..It would be a good option if u give any new details to CIC.. U will be on the fair side and not hiding! Just suggesting..u take a call.

Online status since then is AR/MR. Anyone else who filed application in Jan 2014 with same status?

Its been over 12 months now.
Did MP enquiry, got no info.
Ordered Atip notes, got no info.
Wrote countless messages and 3 letters so far requesting them to speed up the processing. Guess it didn't help.
Tried visiting the visa office in Delhi but they wouldn't let me in to meet anyone grrrrhhh any ideas on what next?? there have just been nooo updates whatsoever. no requests for additional docs or info or interview.

hey m also waiting for interview letter nd recently nov 2013 applicant had an interview on 12 jan 2015 if u r in interview queue den u can expect ur interview letter anytime gud luck keep updates on the forum if u recv anything nd u'll get ur notes after exact 30 days

I am in same situation and everyday since dec especially i cry ..cry ..to myself to my husband ..to anyone I meet. Thinking of applying notes or may be time to do mp inquiry..I am may applicant and imagine july people getting in process blah blah...

what about you ? have you applied for notes ? where is ur hubby based ? tell him to chase it up with cic call center as well. plus MP inquiry as you are march applicant rite !

please cheer up hun. I use to be active member on forum and on whatsapp group ..but cz of certain people and their idiotic attitude have been silent spectator . our time will come ..for the time if you just need to talk ...anything pm me and we will talk.

Well said Amop...we should stay positive...even I cry everyday...no one can understand except the people in the forum who are in the same situation..myself may applicant Inprocess since October...waiting from then...Donno when our day comes,I wake up everyday saying to myself may be today is my day but days weeks and months are passing on..still no update...

VeenaSai i read somewhere and heard from so many people and as its in the spreadsheet that AFTER IP it takes maximum 3 months for ppr or DM...SO i think u r going to get ppr very soon in jan until 30th of jan maximum...stay positive

If you haven't done it already, you should order GCMS notes to see what's happening with your file and what kind of notes have been made therein. During my FSW PR process, I ordered these notes twice and these were helpful. One they had missed to give me 5 points for my uncle being in Canada, second, they had not considered boarding and lodging expenses that were being paid to me by my employer while I was on PG work permit. I pointed out both omissions through e-mails with supporting documents. These omissions were rectified finally.
