You can write a cover letter and reference your file# stating the question# as well that you made an error on. This will be enough as the visa officer can connect the dots and read as well what you are trying to explain to him.

flying out first week of October (I hear a collective sigh of relief from members)..if your notes says 'marriage is compatible and officer is satisfied' then there is no interview. Don't rely too much on ecas sometimes they update it late....sometimes all of a sudden things start moving faster and ecas changes to ' in progress' and then 'decision made'...

Hi all,

I have a question and need expert and senior advise on it.. Please help me out...

I had applied for visiting visa in March 2014 before my PR application and my TRV got rejected on same grounds travel history and family ties..

Then we had applied for PR in April 2014. We mentioned everything about our TRV application and rejection in our letter to the embassy. We have also attached the rejection letter for reference.

But the problem is in hurry i marked NO as the answer for the red flags question provided in the form that "Have you ever refused TRV to canada"..

Now can anybody suggest is this can lead to interview of can be taken as false representation or NDVO will consider our explanation provided in the letter?

Do i need to send another form and an explanation i marked NO as a mistake and in a hurry.

Please reply as soon as possible... waiting....

as Primoo suggested, just send them a letter saying that this was answered wrongly by mistake and that you had explained everything in the cover letter that was sent along with the application. You don't have to send a second letter but to make sure that they don't skip reading the first explanation letter, you want to send a second one. This is not a false representation since you had already explained everything in the first letter. And this mistake alone would not end in an interview but if you have red flags then that might lead to an interview.

yes and you will receive a passport request soon..hats off to you for waiting this long and with patience...

There are many fake consultancies/companies in india most of them are in metropolitan cities. now even they started advertising they have ICCRC agent working them where as actually they dont.

yes I got Remedical resquest on 23rd august 2014 and did it on 25th August 2014. But how long do I have to wait now????

hi there-

I Sponsored my husband on November 2013 and came to India this June waiting for his Visa so that we can go back together. Unfortunately, he did not get visa yet but we are just worried since I am staying out of country for three months and I am leaving next month to avoid further complications on my PR and file.

A PR can stay about 6 months out of country. It really does not affect the application process but why take a chance. I suggest you visit your wife for couple of months (maybe 2-3months) and return back just to be on a safe side. I did an MP enquiry and she suggested me this too. Just dont notify NDVO about the visit..never know what those idiots are upto.

Anyway wish you a speedy visa..

Could you please let me know the e-mail address that you contacted NDVO? Me and my wife both called up the office separately and got different e-mail id's. So not sure which e-mail we have to send the information for mailing address change?

if you are a Canadian citizen then nothing to worry about it...you can stay as long as you want...
its my own experience...my husband is also citizen and he stay 1.5 months after marrie ge and 3.5 months in dec to march when my baby's arrived. ...
so relax just enjoy ur visit and wait for ur wife's visa then came back together whether it takes 2 or 4 months. ..

Thank you rksandhu! I just wanted to confirm from someone who visited India after getting approved as a sponsor. I am planning to visit for 2 months or so and hopefully in that time she gets her visa. If not, then she would have to travel all by herself.

Hi I just got back my passport from Ndvo. It's useless to send them fax and call them. I tried both of these and also they never reply our emails. I read somewhere on CIC website that we need to submit singed letter to request changes. So what I did was wrote a letter, signed it, scanned it and emailed them with the subject "urgent". They replied back the very next day that they mailed my passport to me by registered mail (address in India though). You can try doing this.

Could you please forward the email address on which you made a request? Me and my wife got two completley different e-mails. Also, I got information from the operator that there is no need to sign the document for any change in the mailing address. But, I think me or my wife read somewhere that all change requests must be accompanied by the signature of the requester. So really confused what address we need to email we sent the request and whether it must be signed or not?
