Hi, i had also stayed in Canada more than 6 months. When i had submitted my application at Delhi, at that time i didnt submit my RCMP PCC. Bcz my lawyer told me not to submit it. So i didnt. He had also said they will only ask your RCMP PCC, if your name will clash in their system with some one who has been already got the criminal charges.
But as per the advise of senior members in this forum , i had applied my RCMP PCC, and i got it in 20 days. Around 20 days back i have submitted my PCC to NDVO. If you have already stayed in Canada in the past you didnt exceed the duration of stay , it wont affect on your application.
Just stay calm and be patience. You will get your visa very soon.

Hey I stayed in Canada for LESS than 6 months and wasn't really required to submit a PCC. But was called for fingerprints and I met a few people in a similar fix. I was never involved in any criminal or civil case when I was there. Don't know how officers judge..

Yes Canadian PCC only if you have stayed in Canada at some point for a good number of days.

It have been 5 weeks inprocess.... My spouse can't wait anymore... very sad and lonely..... why it is taking long? I did Mp Inquire and said Background check going on... and I have No idea how long it will take....

Thanks everyone for showing you concern. Means a lot to me! All other things you guys have mentioned in your post have been submitted to them already except for pictures for which I gave them a detailed explanation why it isn't included. I might have to write the same thing again and send them. Yes I am thinking of asking my dad and his sister to write a letter each for us. I will have 1000 pages chat logs if I am to send them or should I just stick with pictures? Ooh when will all these end! I seriously had no idea that I wi be going through this and Wil have to prove someone that I am my husband's wife.

Any further update on your ecas , who had done the interview 13th may ?
i am also completed interview on 13th may 2014. then done my re medical on 14/05/2014 . still no changes on ecas. its show's only "medical has been received". but there is no information about re medical received.

any one knows to update the excel spread sheet, please update my status there regarding my interview has done on 13/05/2014.

they won't update remedicals received in ecas....only way to find out is to call your hospital and ask when it was sent...

Even my case is in process for last 6 months and 2 months have passed after remedical. I don't understand what is holding back my application.

As i have informed to the forum that i got my passport with VISA and 2 other immigration documents. 1 with photo and other one is not having any photo. Hi guys my hubby went for interview. There was a Indian lady who interviewed him nd she called me to interview me on d ph too. Then after she again interviewed him for more Dan two hrs nd refuse to give visa nd my hubby told me dat her main concern was y did he married before his elder sister who is still unmarried nd our age differ nd she did not even ask for the proof of communication nd chat. And she said that she is not satisfied wid our story then my hubby said dis is not story mam dis is reality. And she gave his pp back and ask him to appeal. Does anyone Hv n idea dat how much it cost to appeal as my lawyer said its gonna cost $5000.

so sorry to hear about visa denial..unfortunately your husband ended up getting this middle aged indian woman with traditional values...she refused some one else on similar grounds saying his wife was much older than he was and why his wife did not have a baby when she is 40 years old...shop around and get a competent lawyer and it takes time to appeal...

Lol true right! But can't help it....this is a part and parcel of being in a long distance relationship. Many pages of chat logs and call logs. This is an evidence in itself otherwise why would a person spend so much time and money talking to someone and texting. Anyway let's see what happens.
