At last NDVO "akkad bakkad' finishes on my visa last Friday. Status changed to "In Process" 8) 8) 8) now. They started working on my file on Apr 5th.

Hi,

I have received my GCMS notes today but I found out that they mentioned half of the information wrong like - Date of Travel together with sponsor, DOB, Different city - I am from Delhi they mentioned Punjab and many more important information.

What should I do now?

It say's interview recommended.

Thats crazy. You can show it to the interview about the wrong one. Hope you get an update for the date of interview from NDVO soon. All the best!

Good News !!!

Its DM on my e-cas, I had done MP inquiry on 31st March, MP replied me yesterday mentioning that my visa has been issued and printed on my passport on 4th April !! waiting for my passport now !!

I wish and pray that everyone should receive their visa soon, thanks !

just check this morning..the status changed to "in process" immigration started to process on April 2nd
but my husband is still waiting for ppr ???

Congrats! You may hear an update for PPR and medicals if expired from NDVO in few days. Have some patience. All the best!

Permanent Resident Visa Applications Received Abroad
according to this , below is the details of spouse applications received each month by NDVO,
month, 2013 TOTAL spouse applications received , total PR app- all category , quebec applications

may 656 1997 23
june 615 1034 18
july 507 603 19
aug 409 422 11
sep 109 120 4

aug sep applicants can expect a speedy processing i guess, data available only upto sep 2013

Looks like the September data is incomplete, as for every office the number looks to be less. So better to avoid September for analysis

There is a trend of the number of applications decreasing from August till January. And as May and June had the bulk and it has more or less got over, we should be seeing a bit of speed from NDVO. So hopefully it should be fast.

Also the student visa time is done (not sure it affects), the speed should be double in the next three months.. Go NDVO.. go.. give us faster VISA's.

Great info indeed. Aren't all PR applications (regardless of case) processed by the same office and the same people?
With backlog of the strike done, fewer total PR applications, and even fewer applications for spousal sponsorship (if data is accurate), we can expect something to happen very soon for august and September applicants.
Also, the September data may just be correct. some of the centers (like Abu Dabhi) have more applications in September than in august.

My lawyer has not received official interview notification from NDVO but from ECAS I know that the interview is on May 6, 2014. We have written two emails to them but so far no response. What should I do? My lawyer says I should go for interview even if I don't get official notification before May 6th and show ecas printout that interview has been scheduled but no official notification has been received. Second challenge I am having is I have asked for Tamil interpreter but since there is no official notification I have no knowledge of where I can find these authorized interpreters. Has anyone of you gone for interview using authorized Tamil interpreters? if so please contact me. Concerned about not receiving notification and not able to get through NDVO. I am feeling helpless and frustrated. This is causing lot of friction and fights between me and my significant other.

Hey what all did they ask you to do in remedical? I also got remedical and I was asked to do only chest xray. I didn't get my passport back for remedical. My main concern is the doctor didn't gave me anything to send back to New Delhi and said they would be forwarding everything. Is it the same for you?

Ecas itself should act as the intimation and you have to present yourself for the interview. The lords sitting at the entrance at NDVO demands an official letter you talk to the concerned officer and explain the non receipt. You may see someone's interview letter and know the procedure. Why they dont send the letter of request is the basic question.
Please write to NDVO case specific enquiry quoting the ECAS that interview is scheduled on May 6, 2014 and you are attending the interview on that specifed date. Also ask about the interpreters.
