Currently June applicants are being processed so October will take some time for final decision. If your wife is pregnant then she should mention the same at the time of medical & refuse for x-ray. Pregnant women are generally allowed to travel till 5 months. Post which they need to take medical practicioner's certificate to travel. But these practices are different for different airlines & she should read the policy of the airline with which she is flying at that time.
It's recommended for pregnant women not to travel post 6months as compressed atmosphere in flight can cause uncomfortable conditions & can also result in early labour inflight. (I can say this as I hav worked with an airline). Rest u can take calculated decision by seeing all pros & cons.
