Can anybody share the light please. I heard there is a postal strike?

Is this true and where is this strike taking place. How long is this strike in effect? I am waiting for my wife Passport with visa just curious.

Yes its true. It happened for two days and it ended by yesterday. Its only two days strike so its over. Dont worry.

Thanks again, interview was feb 12 - we had to wait about 45 mins after our interview time before we got called in .... Important note : lol even though they acknowledge your presents at the security gate ,once inside the building u must present ur paper to the reception desk , otherwise they dunno ur there ??? Lol
Questions were the obvious ones they considered red flags ... VO was very direct , specific questions and demanded specific answers - my hubby had been interviewed for about 45 mins then she sent him out and asked me to come in - in hindsight we really believe that both of us being present was possibly the winning edge to prove our genuineness . As far as questions - it was really quite random and essentially if ur relationship is truly genuine than you should just humbly be confident in that . Hi and welcome to the forum. I am July applicant too with similar timelines. NDVO has been processing early June applicants so we still have some time to kill before they look at our applications. Good luck.

Yes, it seems as though applying for GCMS is the way forward for me at right now. Honestly, up until this point, I was going by the official information which indicates a 12 month processing period (initially 10 of course). And so I patiently waited without trying too many things.

I guess the comforting part for me is that my family is with me. My heart goes out to the ones who have been away from their loved ones and have had to wait for long periods of 'processing time'.

How've you been holding up for so long? Have you applied for GCMS or done any inquiry so far? It would be interesting to know how many people are around with similar timelines like us.

Its time to apply for GCMS notes now or MP enquiry since its almost a year for u.

Yes i have applied for GCMS notes few months ago after they already started on March and GCMS notes showed that its not started yet except medical passed but expired. Also i have done an inquiry last time and they gave us a generic message. We all were so fed up with that same stupid message from MP. We have no choice but waiting. So insane! Hopefully you will get good news from NDVO soon!! All the best!

Just be positive about your interview and carry as much as proofs you can.
I'm also lined up for interview on 19th March in Delhi.
