Thank you Forum members - erstwhile and current. My wife got the visa and CIC has updated the status. It was scary because they gave us all our papers and her passport after the interview and we thought the worst. I flew down after just 20 days back to India for the interview and they did not even talk to me.. My flight back to Canada after less than 2 days was not quite enjoyable.... Then it all changed.....After we submitted the required papers, they asked for the passport again and gave the visa....

Congratulations. It is a generic message stating that whatever decision taken by the department will be communicated to you shortly. At this stage you can happily guess they are going to mail you your passport with visa. Happy Journney. All the best.
