Hi I submitted my medical with my application at Mississauga but it doesn't show online that they have received the medical. Is that normal or something wrong with my file?

apply for gcms notes... to know what is the progress on your file ....if u have interview or not...if your medicals are passed or not....

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

if u don't know how to apply for notes go down to my signature follow step by step....it takes 30 days to generate but its totally worth it...

REASONS FOR INTERVIEW

I don't necessarily think that one of these things on their own is a red flag. But in combination they could be a problem. . A few possible red flags could be: (PLEASE NOTE U NEED TO SUBMIT A LOT AND LOT OF PROOF THAT CONVINCES THE OFFICER YOUR MARRIAGE IS GENUNINE)

- different religions
- different cultural backgrounds
- different educational backgrounds
- different professional backrounds
- if applicant applied in some other category and rejected several times (Any refused visa to a Western country is a red flag. One is not a big deal. The more refused visas you have, the worse it looks.)
- no formal wedding/reception
- family not at wedding
- friends not at wedding
- no/few trips together
- no/few trips to see each other
- very short period between first meeting (i.e. first getting to know each other) and marriage
- quick proposal after first meeting, followed by quick marriage
- haven't met each other's parents
- haven't met each other's friends
- big age difference
- previous marriage they really need divorce, separation or annulment papers if not a big RED flag
- very different financial situations

Thank you so much for your response, I don't think then my file going to have red flag, thanks again.

What about my medical check. It doesn't show online that they have received my medical report. It just show my pr application has been received? Does that mean they haven't received my medical?

Thank you so much for your words.

It says 'we have received my permanent resident application on jun 5th,2013' so hopefully they will start working on that next month. Because my medical & police clearance report will complete 12 months in April 14 so it's about to expire.

Hi

I have applied for my infant baby's resident visa since 8months. My husband is in Canada & I m staying with baby in India. Submitted passport to embassy on 7 Nov. Is there anyone in this forum who has applied for infant's visa & can tell me how much time does it take for the visa to arrive.

I have over half the reasons listed above..should I send this list to NDVO and ask them to save time and schedule my interview right away? get it over with this nonsense already....in Myrah's spreadsheet, there were 7 people in May before me waiting for some response NDVO, now it is 3....today three people got DM at this rate I have no idea if and when they will schedule an interview for the Feb/Mar/Apr applicants who are waiting to hear anything from NDVO...

Travel history and delay/interview is a myth. My folks had over 60 trips in span of 30 years with 27+ trips to US, 10+ to UAE, rest to Europe and Far East. They lived in Canada for 3+ years on visit visa and yet we see applicants who have no history still waiting so really don't know how these guys operate

We did provide all PCC, FBI etc and for some who visited Canada once are called to ND for RCMP fingerprinting ( which takes 3 months ) and for some ( like ours ) they do RCMP query internally which takes 2 days
Really strange

Congrats who got DM and got pp back with visa...I also got an update about medical on e-cas.. Thank god something happening with my file...
