I doubt they called for that....no ways 2 months before medicals expire they will ask me to fly.............3- 4 weeks back jan applicant on forum had his medicals expiring they called 1-2 weeks before and asked him /her to come to ndvo collect pp and fly asap...........don't scare me man......I swear I will go to ndvo and slap them !!

well I hope I am wrong....actually you are correct the friend of mine has his wifes medical expiring in like 3 4 weeks and hence they called that if she can go immediately or we will have to send for remedical....so she chose immediate....so with 2 months I doubt it.....

the other thought I had I think they are doing the May people as they are probably preventing remedicals and have all put the jan feb mar and aprill people for the list of remedicals.... I hope they come back to their senses......

How do we get to know if our medical has been extended by them ? Where can we see that on gcms notes ? My medical expiring on Feb 2

in your gcms notes ...u can see under medicals the due date or valid till just check the date !!

Myrah, I got an email stating that my file is in queue for final review, some time in the 3rd week of December. The mail also stated that directly decission would be made after final review or be asked for any more information if required.

Could you please advise, when can I get DM?

that's the generic email they send ppl when u mail them...........right now they are on may applicants .....when did u apply which month june or july ?

oh good.....I thought NDVO had abandoned us completely.... i think its next week by the trend where you mentioned that they update 2 3 times only the ecas....so essentially the quota is done for this week....

visa issued 1-3-5-6 th jan........so this week we got just 1 e-cas update that's 6th jan Monday........so I assume if they are working full flow then we shld be getting some news 2 more days either thus-sun ......... ;D ;D ;D

Yeah, its because of a Polar Vortex... Sounds like something that comes out of comic books.. like the Polar Vortex of Doom...lol
Instant freezing in 5 minutes or less when exposed. Supposedly this is the coldest, breaking the record of -20 degrees in 1968 without the wind chill. GTA, kitchner/waterloo and niagara areas saw -40 degrees with wind chill.

Calgary was -50 degrees with windchill a few days ago.

Brrr...

Don't know where you are getting this -50 information from, it was never this low, the most it was -25, and that's with windchill. If it was that low I would have known since I live here hahahahahahahaha, maybe you are mistaking this for Saskatchewan, I believe Winnipeg was around the -40 mark a few days back

My wife got her passport back today with a 'shiny' visa!
The passport was returned this afternoon IST via registered post.
There was no phonecall from the visa office to verify her address.
Quick turnaround after getting DM on Jan 6th.
