I am really happy for those that got DM first thing in the new year. I can't wait for my file to be completed and a visa issued in my wife's name. CIC should stick to their words that FAM class is their priority and clear the backlog. I really don't know how these folks can go to sleep knowing well that they are keeping loved ones apart. Shame on CIC and shame on Canada and its conservative government. What a bullocks country we live in, eh.

Dont worry! This month is going to be a blast of dm's or ip's. Im sure you will hear an update soon. They are back to work lol. Are you planning to go visit your wife? Wish you a good luck for the visa soon.

Guys no one is living at the address mentioned in the application or on the passport but i emailed them about change in address and on the website the address has been updated...is it fine ?
Or else i need to do something else so that they dont send my passport to the earlier address ?

If you emailed them then it is fine. Also your ecas changed already so dont worry.

Yes about visiting but my wife but postponed the trip because the price was three times during the holidays (did not plan well in advance). Now hoping for Pongal and Feb 14 our marriage anniversary.
