Hello everyone! Happy Friday!

I haven't been on here in 2 days, any updates so far on DMs or 'In processes' since? Anyone got their passports back?

you have 23 pages of posts to read to bring up to speed...by the time you are done with that, there will be another 20 to read..start reading and there will be quizzes on specific people like Myrah and what she did the past two days (as for Big Boss updates, you will have to PM her)

Hahaha.... Nice way to start the day.. Thanks! for letting me know I have to go back 23 pages! I have my work cut out for me. But only 23? I guess people are still sleeping.
As for Myrah.. I can say she has been helping everyone on the forum... And you too, keeping that ever positive personality by making us all laugh.

Looks like our files have been forwarded to some Black hole. Our eligibility stauts is Recommended passed, interview waiver recommended for last one month. Still no action, no updates. For me medical status was added last month.
Any other updates for you guys !!!!

I remember last time when we applied for notes we chose the "Immigration files : Permanent residency"

GCMS:
Option 'sponsorship', if person in Canada wish to see their sposorship file status in Mississauga.
if you are interested in your spouse's file at overseas office, you would select 'Immigration File-Permanent residency'.

Although it can be done but I don't think most people are interested in the first step, since the sponsorship part has already been approved.
Also if someone in Canada want to check their own file/information, it will be under Privacy act (free).
If someone is checking status of their spouse's file, it will be under Access to Information Act (with $5 fee) and they would request as 'member of public' with consent form attached.

this is so frustrating my e-cas is in process since aug 14th more than 2 months now i don't know what the hell ndvo are doing......and its more than 3 weeks since my wife went to VFS kathmandu and submitted letter to request her passport back as per the letter she received from ndvo.

Guys any suggestion what can i do in this situation??

UPDATE: My wife called CIC office New Delhi at Telephone: 91 (11) 4178-2000 about half hour ago. Basically the operator responded and asked my wife if she knew anyone at CIC. My wife said no she doesnt know anyone there but she's applied for visa and she had 4 missed calls by CIC yesterday. The operator didnt take the file number, name or anything and just said that they will get back to you. That is all.

So frustrating.

I dont know when they will get back. Any suggestions?

Hi guys,

My wife got a call from CIC at about 4:30 PM Delhi time. Unfortunately she was not available to answer the phone. She had about 4 missed calls by Canadian High Commission, India.

She called back at around 5PM but office was already closed. No emails or Status update has happened. What are my options? Should she call them tomorrow to see if they answer? I doubt it will be easy to get a hold of anyone there.

Below is my timeline. Any help will be appreciated.

Application Recieved - March 5, 2013
Decision Made (Canadian husband's request approved for sponsorship) - April 2, 2013
Passport Request (Wife in India's passport request etc) - April 22, 2013
Passport sent (May 12, 2013), according to tracking number, the passport arrived at Canadian High Commission in Delhi on May 14, 2013
Status change to "In Process" on October 10, 2013.
