very true Ankgs...as i was discussing wid my husband that we seen many DM came directly during strick but now all the files gonna b in process...nd many inprocess applicants r waiting from a long time but there is no DM... : :

I think during the strike..with less officers...they were trying to process as many files as possible ..and obviously with not enough man power...they were giving DMs quickly.

Now with full capacity...they are going through each file in detail....but again..this is my personal opinion

Is it one dept telling the other to issue it? or am I dreaming this

I'm very very happy today! It is one of the happiest days since after my marriage... my wife finally got DM!
I cannot thank everyone on this forum enough for all the advice and support through this time. I never thought I would get DM so soon, although it was too long.

Here's my timeline:
App filed: Feb 26, 2013
Sponsor approval: March 28, 2013
PPR: April 18, 2013
In-Process on: Sept 17, 2013
DM: Oct 15, 2013

We received your application for permanent residence on February 26, 2013.
We started processing your application on September 17, 2013.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

CONGRATULATIONS ....wish u all the very happiness in life wish u a speedy pp with visa now

This visa is temporary my friend, it's a one-time entry so that you may enter the country once legally.
Your permanent would be a PR card or a landing paper to verify your status and for you to exit/enter

I see, its for PR so it still will say RFV, can ppl in this thread remember seeing this in their notes before getting visa?

wish for all us that we all get the visa with in 6 months time frame as commited by NDVO but the thing is this only god knows what goes with the visa applications but wish and prey to god that all of us get visa very soon .................
