How long does it take for status in process to DM

Hi Sachin n Sanju.

Go for CAIPS, which might take 3 - 4 weeks and just 5 bucks.

If u get any good news before notes, it is welcome otherwise notes will assure that you have never missed any info and will verify the exact status of ur file.

I m March 2012 applicant just got DM on 10th Oct 2013

I did CAIPS 2wice.
1st time came to know about interview waived and file in process.
2nd time I came to know that on 1st June 2013 my file has been assigned to a new officer for processing
and I got remedical request on 27 July 2013.
So I saw CAIPS to be usefull

I think if you search by his/her userid name - user828 you might find it in the bottom of his/her post. I used the instructions to order my notes and found it useful. Did I find anything useful in the notes, you may ask? inquiring mind wants to know. Answer is (roll the drum, please) No. But my case was very early in the processing stage.

if you look at his post on the left side he/she has given a timeline...according to that timeline, application was filed in May 2012..hats off to him/her for the long wait and I haven't searched his/her post to find out if there was any complaint about the delay. I am amused at some people who applied few months ago and they get impatient and complain about the delay. Wasn't it in Hindu mythology that Rama waited for 14 years? did he complain? not that I know of. I got to google and find out.

a little bit of excitment is good for this forum..sometimes this forum goes into sleep mode like computer...it becomes alive when someone writes he/she got passport or DM made or went into process then people wish that person to get a shiny visa soon..there was one case in this forum who got his visa in 6 months... so you may get excited again if such rare thing happens again
