If it takes 70 days (thats during strike) to process the application then why is the processing time upto 11 months?

they have lost it.............there is no ways this is for family class........im sure they are talking abt student visa tourist visa etc......... during the strike period earliest visa issued is around aprrox 6 months !!

Well the Point is it is taking more time and double in some cases for processing any visa applications....

yaa i know but the thing is that according to the article ....if it takes 70 days during strike then lets say it takes 50 days without strike .....then where does 11 months come from? it doesnt make sense......@ myrah- it says there that 70 days is for PR application

They said in general...they did not say New Delhi.. so relax...they also mentioned it will take months for them to clear the backlog...

They are building up our mind tht we shud not expect magic even with the strike is over...

Hello guys I received my gcms today. They send me passport request twice one in April and one in end of July but I never receive anything in my email for the passport request. In my notes interview is waived. Please tell me what are the things required along with my passport and please tell the address and which courier services is best to send my passport?

MY MP WAS NO HELP AT ALL.

I ASKED HIM TO SEND AN EMAIL TO NDVO and he said its GONNA DELAY THE PROCESS IF HE KEEPS SENDING EMAILS. HE ONLY SENT EMAIL ONES. Thats all.

Reeyan...my MP's office told me the SAME thing and this was my reply to the lady who told me that :

Me : " Are you seriously telling me that...if I request for more information on my file....NDVO will delay my application....Im sorry to say but this almost sounds like a threat to me ".

Lady : " ok..im sorry..i should not have said that...please give me an hour ..and ill call you back "

She called back...and enquiry was done within 2 days. ...so dont fall for that crap.It wont delay anything.

Courier your passport with the Copy of the notes, a Cover letter and if you have received any other communication from NDVO confirming your file.

Hi guys my wife got letter today from NDVO they are asking in which address to send the passport. My wife is in Nepal and previously they used to send it to the Canadian Co-operation office in Kathmandu but that office is closed since February 2013. The thing which pissed me off is the letter is dated Sept 10th and we got the letter today isn't that ridiculous they never send me email regarding this letter. Previously when they requested passport they sent me email but this time they didn't prefer that. I don't understand why the hell they sent us such important letter by damn regular. And in the letter they have not mentioned any contact info only the mailing address. Please suggest guys

One of the other Nepal applicant has done following recently to get her passport through VFS. You can also try sending her PM ( Samz ana). She has received her DM last week and now waiting for her passport.

NDVO sends you to contact VFS kathmandu regarding the return of your passport, you need to submit that letter ,a photocopy of a passport and a demand draft of Rs,1220 .. then only VFS can arrange to get your passport back to you from NDVO.VFS gives you then a tracking number to track your passport.. I just did the same today visiting the VFS office itself...hoping to get my PP back within the couple of days..
