Yeah you are right :)

Hi,

You have mentioned that you got a reply from NDVO on an email sent in June. Can you please share some details.

I applied on April 4th 2013 and submitted my spouse's passport in May 2013. I also sent an email asking for an update End of June but haven't got any response. Just curious to know what they said...

Nothing much they just asked us to provide some general details so that they can provide us some info. This email was not related to update as we sent it because we haven't got PPR .

Hi everyone, I have been doing some research on driving license for my husband, who will go bat sh$t that he won't be able to drive here right away. He hates being a passenger, plus he'll miss his motorcycle. :P He'll freeze his butt off trying to drive one here.

Here is a link that should be helpful for those moving to Ontario:
http://www.settlement.org/sys/faqs_detail.asp?k=TRANS_DL&faq_id=4001360

It's really important to prove that you have 2 years plus driving experience as it will make it easier for you to go right to a G2, which includes a written and driving test. But a G1 which you don't want is the basic learners permit and you need to have it for a year. You can't EVER drive on your own for that year. You have to have a licensed driver over the age of 18 in the passenger seat with you at all times. Which I know my husband will HATE! He is trying to get his letter now, thankfully he still has 1.5 weeks until he leaves.

U mean i should send them through mail at the address where we sent the passport at ? I was supposed to go back on july 14th but couldnt because my brother in law got engaged on that day...and he will be getting married on nov 9th...so i will be going back after that sometime in december....so i dont want them to have any doubts that i dont intend to go back....
I think after your sponsorship is approved, staying outside Canada should not be a problem... even I am thinking of taking atleast 2 months of vacation and going back to India in Mid of October... infact I am thinking of taking a break from my work too... I wish to stay there until my wife gets VISA and return together... lets see how things go.

Maybe try to speak in English so we can all understand?? It's hard to help and give encouragement if we don't understand the language. And remember not all of us are Indians- some of us married Indians but don't speak the language :D
Hope no one takes offense.

Hi all, just a question for all the NEW DELHI applicants, I had my spousal visa applied last year, but it was denied and we had to go through ADR, We won ADR and now on CIC website its showing DECISION MADE and get mail as well that our sponsorship has been approved. They asked that I need to submit my passport through VFS-CANADA. I have already done that last week. Do does any one have any idea how long will it take for them to stamp it.

Regards,
Sagar
