hopefully u will receive visa soon........ god bless u...

Personally I don't think so, travel history cause any delay. I spend 6 years in Spain. Its all matter of their work. This delay is only because of strike. May b I am wrong, but we could not predict anything How they work or etc???

Although e-case usually gets updated on Tuesday, New Delhi office is different. They even get updated on the weekend. I don't think checking the e-case will affect the processing time or genuine in anyways.

This is New Delhi Visa Officer. Here is everything is possible. So we should not relay on ECas. :P

I have photos 4 x 6 , photos taken with familiy members , friend's etc ..so do I just write on the back of the photos , who is who , the time/date of the photos , description of the ceremony/event etc ?

How exactly do I label and provide description for the various photos ? ..on the back of the photo itself or on a piece of separate paper ?

Who needs a police certificate?

In general, you and all the people in your family who are 18 or older need to get a police certificate. You must get one from each country or territory where you have lived for six or more months in a row since the age of 18.

The certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply.

------------

This 3 month rule is a really stupid rule by Canadian embassy , since most PCC are valid for 12 months.

The hoops you have to go through just to get a PCC in most countries is a nightmare, and by the time it arrives in our mail 1-2 months are gone and the date of issue on the PCC is 1-2 months back , so this 3 month rule by Canada screws you up , even though the PCC itself is valid for 12 months.

Anyways ..it is what it is ..not much you can do about it.

---------

My question is when I mail the application , do they check the post marked date on the application or when the actually receive the application and start processing it , to see if the PCC was issued in the last 3 months or not ?

Say the PCC was issued to me on July 1 -2013 ( date of issue on the PCC ) and I mail in my application on August 1- 2013 , and they open the application on Sep 1 - 2013 , do they see 3 months back PCC issued date validity , from Aug 1 ( post marked date ) or Sep 1 ( opening of my application date )

How exactly the PCC should not be issued more than 3 months back rule is applied , when does the 3 month countdown begin ?..although the PCC itself is valid for 12 months ?

Its not uncommon, lot of changes happen on Saturday night - usually a perfect time when there is less server traffic
Last year when they started processing parents case again, lot of apps went at the same time and we all could figure to wait for that Saturday and happened exactly on saturdays
