for me its almost 90 days now.

and i have a very strong gut feeling that strike will b called off this mth. And aug - which is my birth mth too they gonna speed up !!!

u know what someone,known to me applied for student visa in the fist week of may and it got approved this week only so all in all it took almost 3 mths to get the visa - which usually is done within a mth.

Does that mean...they are still working weather partially but are they still issuing visa's...

they are issuing visa ....but its VERY slow....rt now 2013 no visa's given last 1 month just asking for ppr

yes they are working for sure. But at snail's pace. What i feel is - they are working on our files too and moreover lately v have seen ppl who applied in may and June are getting PPR's - which clearly shows they are working -- maybe they are not issuing any visas just to impose pressure on govt.

its all what i strongly feel!! Rest they know what they are doing!! Even they wont want alot of backlog - i guess.

I think you are right my friend. This is probably their internal strategy, hurt the economy by stopping in-flow of immigrants who bring cash with them and invest, purchase, spend, etc.

YET still keep working on new applications by processing PPR's... very smart indeed!

u know what I feel lot of ppl have already got dm...but they are waiting for the strike to be called off....once anything works out im sure one after another ppl will get dm
