Hi Anisha

I guess u will be travelling to Quebec after receiving visa.
For Quebec is ther any different procedure for application of visa ?

For Quebec , CSQ is also required.

@ realmiracle, thank you for this info.. really helps...

You are a Canadian citizen and you may live with your husband in Doha during the processing of your sponsorship application. If the CIC comes to know, they may ask you to provide proofs that you intend to return and reside permanently in Canada. If your parents or siblings are settled in Canada, ask any of them to furnish a letter making commitment to accommodate you and your husband initially when your husband land to settle after PR processing. furnish your bank statements and tax returns to show that you maintain your link with Canada. If you own your own house/ apartment then you will be in very safe side.

If you live together with your husband, it will show that your relationship is genuine.

I'm not sure whether this may delay the processing or not.

@ Suban, that's a really good idea I didn't even think of - to just call the sauga office and ask them. but then what is 'short period' according to them.. is that 1 month or 6 months.. hmm.. will call that'll be perfect I guess..thanks a lott..

i called missisauga office last week and asked if i can go back home for some months..and his answer was- as long as u have postal address here to receive any doc from visa office AND as long as u provide valid n true reason to concern visa office...U r good to go for short period.. u can call for more info

Next 3 hours are so crucial for all of us.

Hope some common sense prevails between PAFSO & government by keeping their differences asides & think about all the people who are suffering.

they should reach to some sought of understanding for interest of innocent people.

Awaiting eagerly for some positive news...........

If government does not accept this offer then we have to wait till sep.even thinking about it makes me go crazyyyy.

Hi All,
i am a newbie on this forum. I have been reading these posts for quite some time now and felt like joining the forum as i see myself being one of the family member.

I am a Family class PR applicant, and here's my time line.

Application received by NDVO - 26th Feb 2013
PPR - 17th April 2013
Passport sent - 18th April 2013
VISA - waiting

I guess very soon you will receive ur passport back due to strike work process really very slow these days but mostly you will receive your passport back in next month :D

People..the government has power over the union whatsoever. For sure they are going to make them get back to work no matter what and the union will have to obey the govn. The govn will have its own smart/wicked ways to get this working TODAY.. ideas which we would never even think of. Yes, the strike may continue as per what the PAFSO email told me - but they will resume work today In shaa Allaah. let's all wait for our visas to b worked on..
