Hi,
I'm planning to do mba in canada in colleges and my eduction background is 10th-73%, 12th-79% & btech(ece)- 59% with 13 backlogs(all are cleared). I already given my ielts and had overall band of 6.5 with listeing-7.5, reading-7, writing-6.5& speaking -5.5.

1) can I apply under spp for colleges even after having 13 backlogs(all are cleared) and what is the sucess rate.
2) what are the other ways I can apply with this percentage and ielts band.

GOOD news to share with u guys.
I got my passport yesterday on June 13th 2013 with PR visa.Thanks to everyone for good wishes.

My timeline:

Application filled: Jan 21,2013
Passport requested: March 09,2013
Passport submitted: April,01,2013
Address changed to Canada`s home address: June 9th,2013
CIC started processing on my application: June 5th,2013
Decision made: June 12th,2013

Yes I did mention I eloped and I order them on may 22, got them on Jun 19. I'm afraid for the interview cuz my mom had sent them (to Jason Kennedy) a email, when I went to go eloped. Our families have known each other for years. I met him when I was on vacation for the first was our official met. But we become good friends while I was there. Cuz his mom and my mom grew up together. (Both our nanaji ran a business together in the 70's) They called each other family. And my mom was against the marriage cuz of age differences (hes 6 years younger) and she kept saying his mom is like my cousin so that makes u guys cousins too. I'm afraid she email immigration canada saying the same thing I'm so nervous that this will ruin everything

Guptaji, r u sure they issued pp vid visa n DM last week... As it was strike week so curious to know . Is that possible to get pp before DM... Or it's very rare case??? I m waiting die hard for my pp ....

JAGGU, in this forum itself, I saw couple of guys saying their eCas status being changed to Decision made. I dont think they send PP before DM. I was inferring people getting PPs last week, whose status was already DM.

hey prasamp can u tell me is thr a date on the letter of sa? i got the mail today but thr is no date given...just said its been transfered to delhi etc

the date of your letter say if its June 19th thats the day its sent to Delhi as well.. i didnt have seperate date mentioning transfered to delhi on 'xx-xx-xxxx'

in the letter they have said this is reprint of the original letter sent to u....and this one was dated 19th june....so dont know exactly what date my file was transfered to Delhi

I finally got a copy of the GCMS (after a month long wait) for my wife's immigration application.

They have removed the following from the Client Section of the report:
Disassoc Reason:
Other Disassoc Desc:
Counterfoil Required:
Security:
HIRV:
Criminality:
Medical:
Misrepresentation:

Though under the Notes section under the label Eligibility it says:
***Interview waiver recommended*** File, supporting documents and photos reviewed. The PA and sponsor are compatible. The wedding was performed in accordance with cultural norms. The relationship appears to be genuine. File sent to officer for review.

This was the last note on the file dated 21st of May 2013.

Can anyone tell me what is the next step? Does the above section's exclusion from the GCMS report mean that they are still doing background check? Or based on the notes it means that the visa should be provided once the file goes to the officer?

Does anyone know how much more time?

so if everything is ok which was last updated on 21st may... what the hell are they waiting for .......this is so damn sad....a visa that takes max 10 days.....they take 1 yr.......hopeless people

Managed to re-send my application, here's what my timeline looks like now

Meds done: 5th March
App sent: 2nd May
App Rcvd: 6th May
App Returned: For being Incomplete to hubbys address on 3rd June, letter dated 16th may.
App re-sent: 17th June
App Rcvd: 20th June.

Now again...fingers crossed!
