I want to share my wife`s timeline

VISA OFFICE: NEW DELHI
APPLICATION FILLED: 21 JAN 2013
AOR RECEIVED: 04 FEB 2013
PASSPORT REQUESTED: 09 MARCH 2013

I have almost same timeline as Gupta`s.Lets see when our wait gets over.E-cas still shows application received.

I just read that the immigration department in many countries, including India is on strike starting Thursday June 6th. I hope this gets resolved quickly or else who knows how much longer our passports will remain there.

@@ nrn1 - I got an email from them in march for passport. Asking for fee which I.already paid and police Clarence which I already submitted and passport.. Thanks

@@Fewmoreweeks- thanks a lot for ur info. That's even better when thy send by fed ex. FedEx will call us when thy have our passport. What is vhs?? Wats there address in Nepal? That will be nice if cic send the passport to them and we pick up from them.. Im happy now

Please dont panic guys! I just confirmed from canadian high commission new delhi. They are not having such information and are still working on the applications. There is no strike in NDVO

Other than eagerly anticipating ecas updates/ updates from this forum/ email from CIC with positive response, praying for faster response & worrying meanwhile - what else can be done? May be some smileys once in a while!

Hi there,
I sent it with the PO Box thing. bUT MY PASSPORT GOT DELIVERED. i CHECKED WITH DHL.
They recieved my passport on the 3rd of may 2013. As of now my online status shows only application recieved. Medicals were sent with the entire package previously.
This wait is so frustating. When will things move ?
I am so worried...
