How long does it usually take for sponsor approval from CIC, Mississauga?

Hi all,

All cases are unique and different from each other. Adoption, divorced and fraud cases are also different. No one has written anything here that hurts sentiments. If person's is second marriage that doesn't mean its fraud.

Moreover if one's category is adoption it also doesn't mean its all fraud. One's negative thinking can make others thought same. We are here to help each other whatever the case it is. All we know we are sailing in the same boat. No discrimination has been made by any member not even me. So it's my humble request for those who are creating negative thoughts in their mind awaring again and again regarding divorce, adoption and fraud. These three words are different.

NDVO takes sometimes more than the normal one for such cases but it doesn't mean these cases are fraud.

GUYS plz help me out on these things..its urgent...
MY FILE HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO NEW DELHI OFFICE AND I GOT A LETTER FROM THEM , AM LITTLE CONFUSED ABT FEW THINGS

1) WHAT TO WRITE IN DEPENDANTS "UCI" COLUMN ?? DOES THE UCI OF PRINCIPLE APPLICANT AND DEPENDANT IS SAME???????
2) THEY HAVE ASKD FOR DOCUMENTS SHOWING MY RELATION TO SPONSOR ND DEPENDANT.... WHAT DOCUMENTS COMES UNDER THIS CATEGORY?? PLUS DO I HAVE TO SEND ANY ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES OR PHOTOCOPIES WOULD DO...???
3) WHATS THIS RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENT FEE OR LANDING FEE...MY SPONSOR HAS ALREADY PAID THAT 450 $ THING ...IS THERE NY DIFERENCE BTW TWO FEE'S ??/

I just got a call from a local hospital in which my medical was done on March 14th.. They have asked me to come tomorrow that is June 7th for some chest check up and also told me that the embassy has asked them to do so. My concern is... would this delay our application? And should I be worried?

I am new to this forum and I would like ask to expert one question regarding IMMI1344E (Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking ) As I am sponsoring my wife.

First Question : Last Signature panel consist of three section : ( Please let me know if i am doing right or not)

Sponsors Signature : My signature

Signature of sponsores spouse or common law partner ( if co -signer) : I guess my wife signature

Signature of sponsored person ( Principal Applicant ) : I guess my wife signature


Second Qestion : I guess i dont need to fill this form as this one is for common-Law and I am married person..Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union [IMM 5409]

----->>>> UCI for both of you are different. if you are a principal applicant for PR (not a sponsor) you will not have one unless you are notified of your UCI by NDVO.

documents like marriage certificate or any document showing marriage proof, wedding ceremnoy information,photos,phone bills (not sure on this)

RPRF is a fee to be paid by a person before landing in Canada as PR. what you paid at the beggining is 550$ which for processing your application...once your application is approved and decision to be made you have to pay RPRF to get the visa issued. which is 490$.

this part is mainly for a sponsor who has a common law or spouse (previous relationship) etc to sign in your case this should be blank and its not applicable.

haven't got PPR yet ..I am worried little bit..Any suggestions.

Congrats angel2117... after sponsorship approval, it will take from 1 week to 6 months to get Passport Request. But for many cases, these days we are getting passport request within 1 month from sponsorship approval. Good luck to you...

I know they send with registered post but ours is not like India delivering door to door. We have a post box that is in post office. WE have to go there physically to receive it but we dont know when CIC is sending passport since they dont send any letter indicating they are sending our passport. ALSO POST OFFICE WORKERS dont call to say we have a important docs in the mail waiting....

I'm from nepal and I submitted passport more than 2months back through fedex. They don't deliver passport to post box. One of my friends received it through FedEx, but it took more than 2 weeks after DM. My other fren sent it through VFS and got it back in 2 days after decision made. I didn't know that VFS accepts PP for permanent residents, that's why didn't bother asking them, now I don't know how much time it will take to get it back. If any one is sending PP now from Nepal, I strongly suggest them to use VFS, which is the most reliable way.

I heard that NDVO will send you an email to contact VFS in Nepal to arrange for pick up your passport.. I am from Nepal too, wating for PPR letter by the way how did you get PPR letter.
