Wow ! Interesting article ... Lets just all pray that the immigration officers in NDVO have open eyes and clear common sense when making these decisions. BTW - I really like the idea of the surprise visits to determine if indeed the relationship is genuine. Maybe they could also request letters of support from close family friends after they reunite? And the conditional PRV should have been initated long b4 last Oct.2012 , perhaps could have changed the historical negative pattern.

Lol yes...but we can do best by keeping our cool and staying positive. Remember you're not alone in this there're others as well who are sailing in the same boat. I will pray that all of us who are waiting for PRV's, get them as soon as possible. Good luck with your application and just write if you have any questions.

Any update dear? Your timeline is similar to me

I don't have any travel history. I don't understand what NDVO is doing. My status has not yet changed to 'IN PROCESS'

I wish my status from 'APPLICATION RECEIVED' change directly to 'DECISION MADE' soon

No update as yet but as soon I'll see something I'll post it here. NDVO has its own weird way of processing which differs from case to case I just hope that they look at our case sooner and come to a decision. I wish the same dear that it should directly change from "Application received" to "Decision made". I will pray for all of us to get our PRV's as soon as possible so that we don't have wait anymore to be together with our loved one's. Good luck with your application dear and remember you're not alone. We all are there with you like I have you all.

By any ways did NDVO confirm you that they received PP?
I guess you are just saying from tracking the courrier shipment.right?

Does anyone experience this earlier? confirming NDVO if they receieved the PP.

Nope they don't send out any confirmation email or letters that they received the passport. The only way to know is via tracking.

Hi Everyone.......

Today we got Letter from CIC stating Sponsorship is approved on 24th April, medical results have been received and file is transferred on the same day....
CIC has apologized for delay in mail delivery.

approximately how many photos did u include in the file?

At the time of initial application 12 and more than 80 with PPR.
Not sure if they will add it to the file without being requested. I really hope they do.

I sent around 120 photos at the time of application...I hope those are not lost in CIC-Mississauga....lol

If I dont count the honeymoon trip, than None...no travel history.
