NEW DELHI - 2013 APPLICANTS.

Hey Everybody,

I am stuck on the generic application form... For the national ID : as far as I know, we dont have one right, so choosing NO would be correct, right.
Also, do we have to wait for the police report and the medical report to requested by the immigration office or can we do it before and send it with the application.

any help would be much appreciated.

National ID choose NO,
police clearance and medical report should be sent with your application package.

When signing the additional form requested by Delhi VO, i remember there was a question about how many passports does the applicant hold including the current one?
Ok , so when they will request passport for the applicant , should my spouse send only the current passport or even the old one that expired after 10 yrs.

Any thoughts here .

New delhi requested my wife's passport in December and passport was submitted on 2nd December. After that i have not heard anything from them. Lats month i contacted my MP in canada and new delhi replied that she will be called for interview but it's one month after that and still no news from new delhi consulate. Any idea how much time will it take?

You should send the old and new ones.

You hire a lawyer/agent when you have complexities in your case or you are not comfortable doing it yourself.

You will be treated the same by CIC irrespective of whether you have lawyer/agent or not.

Hey Mannat,

I am sorry to hear about your FIL. I have already shared my views on this topic many times before. I can't say anything. I think the best way is to contact CIC Call centre and ask them or you can take the opinion from a reputed Immigration Lawyer in Canada.

I will pray for your FIL and hope that he may get well soon.

My husband is in India these days actually my father-in-law is hospitalised in DMC.

It will take time for him to go back. Could you please advise as i know if he stay here longer then it will affect my application

Please let me knw wt should i do?

I think there will be no problem as my maasi is also in India from the last three months and my uncle's application has been approved last month.She is also PR in Canada.

My husband has consult the lawyer and he also says that there will be no problem.

Hey all,

I am so happy.

I got my SA today from CIC around 1 pm EST. Please update my file.

But my E-cas still doesnt show any entry for sponsor's details.

Now its time to knock the doors of Quebec for them approving me as sponsor.
Then NDVO will start processing my file once quebec has accepted me also.

I am jumping all the way ... YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

You have to wait at least one year . requesting passport at this time is not a guarantee for visa issuance, you need to undergo several process. You will be asked to submit additional docs. Your sponsor will also be asked to submit additional docs. As per the current processing time it is asking 10 months after sponsorship approval. So be patient!

When I applied- the processing time was 8 months. I heard 10 month is not going to effect for my application.

I've sent all the required documents. I dont have anything else to send now.
From medical,police clearence.marraige ceritficate, Proof of relationship etc...

I have my girlfriend who sponsored her husband. He was here within 7 months from Nepal..

Its ok. when I apply the processing time was six months , its gradually increased ,7,8 9,10 .....
Your sponsor may be asked to submit additional docs from CIC missisauga.

I have been directed to submit passport soon after sponsorship approval. Still I am waiting for visa after medical reassesment
