Hello Gulzar,

I have applied for my Wife's PR. The details of the case are as follows:
Medical Done: Nov 26, 2012
Application Sent: Jan 17, 2013
Application Rec'd: Jan 21, 2013
AOR: Feb 2, 2013
Sponsorship Approval: Feb 15, 2013
Passport request: ?

Would you know of the timeline we can expect in for completion of the process?

Hi guys...I am almost in the final stages of completing the spousal application, I have come across a few questions which i do have doubt in answering, I would request your assistance in answering those.

1. Do you have national identity document for spouse(yes/NO) if yes state issue and expiry date( my wife has only voter's id card as her only other id other than passport), so what should I mark the answer as? if yes as voters id what will be the expiry date as it does not have one.

2. Should i fill up and submit the additional family information form (IMM5406) for immigrant),I am only sposoring my spouse.... if yes in section A what should i fill up in colum for (spouse or common law partner see note 1)

Answer : - I just wrote any date after like 20 years or so ..

Answer; Yes you need to fill IMM 5406 .. and just write your spouse name in it ..

Welcome to the Forum !!!

YES, BlueDart is the best way to send your PP. Yes they accept the P.O.Box No. So don't worry and sent it. Also send them the copy of the PPR for sure.

One more thing please post your timeline in the following order to get yourself added in the spreadsheet :

Medical Done -
Application Sent -
Application Received by CIC as per tracking -
AOR (if any) -
Sponsorship Approval -
PPR Request -

Hi Gulzar,

Congrats for your PPR. I also just got it today.

Can you please suggest What address I have to send it to New delhi and what courier will be best to use so I can track it. Somebody suggested BlueDart.

But does courier take PO BOX address ? letter says Immigration section, 7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri, po-Box 5209 , New delhi. Should I send into this address ?

Appreciate Your help and suggesstion.

Hi Kish7,

For QUES. No. 1, I have mentioned no for myself. National Identity Document is not mandatory at all.

For QUES No.2, Yes you have to fill up IMM5406E for your wife. In Section A you have to fill up your name. This Form is basically about the complete family information of your sponsored spouse regardless of the family members whether they are accompanying or not.

@ shakti123,

You have to mention about your wife's kids from her ex marriage in the dependent forms of your wife regardless of whether they are accompanying her or not.

YES shakti123,

OF COURSE you need to send only one package to the Mississauga Office. Many Applicant's package was weighing around 9 - 10 kilos (around 20 - 22 lbs) also. So don't worry about the weight. Just send it.

Hi call yesterday call center18882422100. Two time double check and call center told me once the child on custody then they don't count depandents. Kindly tell me which forum i should declare.about child.there is also
