My E-cas changed from "Application Received" to "In Process" on September 16th, but ecas stated that they started processing on September 11, 2013. I hope it changes to "Decision Made" soon.

This was directed at the person who tweeted this not you. He should never have replied to the tweet that was a genuine heartfelt message about a tragic accident with a tweet about the strike. I'm sorry but it was insensitive. I know you were just the messenger not the person who posted it.

No worries.

By the way...Harper or any politician sending "genuine heartfelt message " to people affected by any kind of tragedy is just a political gimmick.Its something they have to do...or else they will look bad...not good for their image..their party...etc etc etc.

If harper was really so concerned about his people..then why let thousands of families suffer like this ? Some of them even thought of committing suicide .So far he has shown absolutely no concern whatsoever for immigrants affected by this strike...no measures were taken from his side to resolve this issue.

Just my personal opinion..no offense.

it will take 4 weeks.

It should be after 3 months in general, but you can contact them earlier in case of urgency that too if your file is on hold longer than specified time (11 months). Why you wanna go for MP inquiry?.

I think you should wait for a while as it's quite early also there is not specific issue with ur case like missed PPR, docs or emails.

i have a questions. can i apply for gcms notes from india through online ?

already we applied one notes last month and got a reply early this month .

i wanted to apply one more to ensure whether i have interview or not.

but my in-laws are opposing it and not allowing my wife to apply it as some stupid agent told them that cic is working on 2012 applicants. my wife is not able to apply it online. can i apply it from here ? is it possible to pay the fees through my indian credit card ?

Well I'd advise you to wait till end of this month.. Your application timing is pretty close to mine and a lot of March applicants are getting Decision Made on their ecas. i would think that you'll get the visa before the GCMS notes would even arrive.

Counterfoil is the visa that they will glue into your passport once your application is approved.
