No idea abt that. Most of us has sent our passport on March 9. Calculate yourself

Yes and this is quite long , NDVO has just sent e-mail to the applicant 4 week prior to interview. I think some people just keep on waiting patiently and take some action when it's too late. One thing is for sure "luck " matters a lot.

yup can4 visa ... u r rite luck matters a lot...my hubby's 2 friends filed the case in feb 2012 n their wives were with them just in 3 months...n i am still waiting for visa..its been 1.5 year since i've met my hubby...moreover we just lived together for 2 months after marriage n he went back to canada..my bad luck i got my DM after 1 whole year..

Don't worry now your waiting period is going to be over soon and you'll be there. Even we were not aware at the time of application that this strike is going to ruin our plans as earlier people got their visa in 3-4 months. We can understand how hard it is for those who are going through this situation. Wishing you all the best.
