my wife has applied from canada on august 14 in cic missisuaga but we havent got any reply ... will they reply to me or my wife about the sponsorship approval ?? as she wants to come to visit inida and we are just waiting for the reply how much will they take?? plz help me

Hi...CIC send email to your wife and in my case it takes around 3 weeks for approval but due to strike may be more time so have a patience.I think she wait and den come to India bcoz sometimes they want any document to resubmit..

cic is 26 days currently ...so few days up cld be coz of strike but im sure u will get it anytime coz they have started workin on application from 9th august.....they will email your wife abt the sponsorship etc

i got email today morning at 09:01 am from delhi hight commision.
email is below


This refers to your application for admission to Canada.
In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following:
Complete divorce petition, judgment and certificate of divorce of your sponsor
This must be received by our office 09/16/2013 (Date format is MM/DD/YYYY)
Failure to submit them within that time period could result in the refusal of your application. Please quote our complete file number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the High Commission at the address indicated below.
Immigration Section / Section de l'immigration
Canadian High Commission / Haut-Commissariat du Canada
7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri
New Delhi
India / Inde

now the thing is we already submitted divorce petition and divorce certificate. i dont know why they are asking for it again.
any comments plz
[ hey though we submitted div papers still they asked...
infact they asked for complete div petition/settlement of claim for your sponsors first marriage...
and since i had missed the mail it was to be sent by 18 may but i sent the docs on 6th sept...
hence let us hope our file is not in being processed by some moody person...my firend is with one of the visa office at ahmedabad and she told me that many times they ask just to cross check the docs.]

if u sent them the following 3 documents -
Complete divorce petition, judgment and certificate of divorce of your sponsor then u don't need to worry....but still pls do send them a reply stating u have sent all the documents they have asked for and ...on what particular date to be on the safer side....and pls keep your communication with ndvo as proof...if required ...

[Myrah in my case one of the doc is not there with my husband i.e the statement of claim..which he has asked the court to give me another copy which will take another wk...
meanwhile we had docs i.e div order, div certi and seperation docs...apart from these we had one final court order saying all issues settled except for Div, as per the seperation agreement...the sepertion agreement has all amendment till sept 2013...
hope this would be enough...]

i got request on 12th aug and i sent photocopies of all things they asked on very next day and the day after they received according to blue dart. but till now no update.
i hope they will open my file on 12th this month as they said send all docs in one month otherwise refused.

Hi everyone,

see lot of DM this week .... very heartening to see change of colours .... good news for me is my wife has given birth to baby boy in canada...feeling happy....But i am still stuck here in india..


Any advise how can i ask chc to expedite my visa as she needs me right now..... shd i write to immigration minister for help..

any views will help in taking correct decision
