I am wondering how could they totally ignore Jan applicats and issue visas for Feb, March applicants. Come on guys, show some pity towards Jan 2013 and 2012 applicants. What have we done!! Pity souls waiting from such a long time to get united with their loved ones. Please Guys, work on our files too. But still I have some hopes somewhere in my heart!! Lets see!!! :'(

Anybody tell me if I check my file every week any affect our case

Hi, what to you mean by checking your file every week?
Are you talking about gcms notes..? IF yes, you can apply it monthly once/twice and check your file status. Processing time for the gcms notes is about 30days. Gcms is not going to delay your process at any cost. Processing of the file purely depends upon the visa officer who is handling your file and it depends upon your case. As i have been reading 2012 forum for about 7 months i would suggest you apply gcms online and try to get an electronic file(i.e. pdf file ) and not a paper file.

Hello guys i need any suggestions.. My application receive in Mississauga yesterday august 19... worrying because in my document checklist number 18 i forgot to put x on the box on number 18 but i sent my proof of employment as well as pay stubs what should i do? is that a big problem that i enclose the requirement but i forgot to put marked x on it?is this cause a refusal on my application??? appreciate your opinions...

No its not a big problem and dont worry, for sure your application will not be refused. If the visa officers checks-in and finds the attachment/proof then it not a big deal. otherwise they will mail you requesting for additional documents or proof. So that you can send them the proof/doc again within the requested time. Moreover you will come to know the status soon(since your file is being processed in Mississauga and not in new Delhi ) so dont worry.cheers

its really shocking when we jan and feb applicants are not getting any status update or dm's. How come march, April and may et al applicants are getting progress in their files..!!!
wats Ndvo doing ;D r they going to directly change our status to Dm or directly going to send our passports with visa back!!!!!????!!!

Hey guys! I know some of you have been talking behind my back!!!!! Anyways, I got my passport yesterday, with visa stamped as of august 9 2013. My e-cas has also changed to decision made. I also got my ticket booked for next week! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Jut to let you all know, there is no harm in requesting your gcms notes, however it does slow down the process both ways. At whatever stage your file is, it gets pulled out, to provide you with the notes, and then it goes back to end of the queue. So, unless you think it's been a long time and you haven't heard anything, only then should you apply.

There are to steps to your application:
1) at Mississauga, it takes 21 days (currently 28 days)
2) at New Delhi, it takes 10 months (currently 11 months)

These times do change, so you can go to the cic website and check with them. It doen't matter when you filed your application, everyone's case is different. So, someone could be waiting since last year and this years applicants are getting visas. It all depends on the case. People do not share any personal information regarding their case. Rather than gcms, it's better to contact your local MP, only if it has been a long time and you haven't heard anything from NDVO or e-cas.
