Which is the case for me now, folks are here on visitor visa, PP in Delhi - need PP as dad needs to go back, I have heard we can go to ND and ask for PP
I've read it here, anyone else experienced that since I would have to fly down and do this

try to contact ndvo 1st email calls...anyhow.....tell them the issue.....and see how it goes.. before goin to delhi.....ya ppl have had emergencies some have no reply from nd n some got lucky....but this process takes time.....

Well GCMS notes only tell you what work has been been done on your application so far. So if you have sent the passport generally you get a reply that medical is passed and other checks such as security are pending. It's as good as your ecas status. People who have not received PPR, check ur spam folder, there is a big chance that your PPR email is probably lying in there. If you can't find it than go for GCMS. I takes about a month for GCMS so there is a huge chance that you will get the PPR before the GCMS notes arrive anyway..

With the visa trends on this forum it looks as if the cic is concentrating on the visa categories which bring revenue to the country such as visitor and student visas. Family reunion has taken a back seat. Its so frustrating that the other categories are getting a lot more work done than ours. Its unbelievable that the Canadian govt. does not care about people being separated from their loved ones cuz of this stupid strike !!

ya maybe what u saying is right...but 2012 have got calls and dm's...and lot of ppr for ppl in may and june.....I just hope some officers who are workin wake up and hurry our files...coz this is criminal waiting for something so long...specially when its not our fault...

i cant able to make a payment and not able to download a form ...i try to update adobe and download it again as well...
I am worried about my husband's file i applied In February and haven't even received PPR yet...
I dnt knw wats happening..

I am from Canada I applied for my husband he lived in dubai for 9-10yrs..after we got married in december he moved to india...
So its been seven months..last response i got was dat my file been transfered to delhi..but after dat havn't heard anything yet...
I dnt knw whn they ginna request for PP...
