guys I hv a question in my mind...like recently we see d case of Popeye100...his wife received a call from NDVO's...and in d best there also ssimilar cases where applicants received these kind of calls..
so my question is those applicants who are apply direct received dese kind of calls or those who have lawyers and representatives also received dese calls. ..bcoz those who hv lawyers in dere cases they fill in d application form of dat lawyers phone no and email address. ..so I m confused. ..can someone clarify it..
Now we have only single case. Interview has to be with the applicant so they contact the applicant on the number given. In case of phone number given is that of third party like lawyers they will Obtain the number from them

On May 15th ,big immigration convention happened in Calgary . Attended by diplomats , foreign high commissioners , every big immigration lawyer was invited . The main purpose was to implement new plan of action designed by Chris Alexander . My lawyer mentioned this to me that they bringing in some big changes like case that don't fall under any radar will be cleared at very fast pace ( within 6 months ) and cases with red flags will have to wait extra long(13 -15 months) because they will be pushed behind fair cases . They are going to grade files and processing time accordingly . Pretty much if you get asked for interview , just consider yourself in long wait and if your file goes Into 'in process' status considered yourself very lucky . From now on it's gonna get very important to submit every document at the time of application filed , rather than waiting to see if they require they can ask . There's a article in Vancouver sun magazine about this new plan of action . That's why we have started to see so many changes with ndvo proceedings like mini interview over phone , calling temple or gurudwara authorities where wedding happened . It's extra pressure while filling application but I would say it's very good news for future genuine applicants

We are striving to make our processing of Family Class applications as efficient as possible. We continue to meet our commitment to a service standard of 6 months to finalization for at least 80% of cases for sponsored spouses, partners, and children. Processing times are calculated from the date the application is approved by Case Processing Centre Mississauga, after which it is sent to the visa office for further processing. For individual cases, actual processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the application and the number of new applications received by the visa office. For actual processing times of permanent resident applications in New Delhi for the last 12 months..

wouldn't it be better if they hire more officers (this would be prudent solution but no..... politicians are not elected to think logically and rationally) and process applications faster rather than this divide and conquer tactics? just because there is big age difference and spouse had to leave within two weeks of marriage due to work commitments, do they have to go through this long waiting torture because those two factors were considered red flags?

Hello Folks,
Two days back i did contact to my lawyer through an email bcz he is in Canada. I wanted to ask him regarding my application status. How much time it will take more? I asked him did you get any reply from NDVO.
I asked him should i go for an MP enquiry ? He gave me very unpredictable answer. He said, MP can only get a copy of GCMS notes not more than that. What ever MP receives in notes then he/she tells you the same thing. After reading my lawyer's email now there are many questions are roaming around into my mind. The first thing is about MP enquiry is, it is the fastest way to find out about your file status. Bcz if we apply notes it takes roughly 30 days to come. Here my views are conflicting with lawyer that if MP applies notes , then how come he/she gets notes that early? Do they have some priorities to receives the notes ?
I think my lawyer lied to me . But i dont know why he lied ? He also said when ever you want to do the enquiry about your case through an MP you have to pay some kind of his/her fees . Which means indirectly you will be paying GCMS notes fees. I dont know that is true ?
Here i wana ask to those applicants those have done their MP enquiries, did you guys paid any kind of fees when you had gone to see MP? Did you guys do any kind of signature on any form which is related to know about your case specific enquiry ?
Bcz if you have paid the MP fees or have signed on any form then i think it will be asking for GCMS notes.
I hope my lawyer would be wrong what he told me. He also said i need to wait at least month before i proceed further ?
You guys are requested kindly give your valuable inputs .

I guess that's the best they could come up with..... lol. There's a reason why they need immigrants to run their country , because they incapable making effective decisions on their own . Plus being a Canadian citizen and top being Canadian government employee you enjoy too many rights , one of which is right to deny your responsibilities . It cost Canadian system more to fire than to keep paying employees for doing nothing . God bless canada .

Your lawyer is nothing but crapping bricks . No fee required , sponsor sign consent form and you get reply back within 3-5 days . Send me your sponsor postal code , I'll get you MP office phone number and then ask yourself what's required .

Hi CANVISA770

Thanks for motivating us..
But I think it's too late for me to expect this kind of call from NDVO as my madical had expired on 20th June but I m still prepared for interview ..
Just in case if they do call me it's gonna be miracle by NDVO ..
They didn't even send me any email or letter regarding remedical so at the moment torture is on it's pace ...
Let's see what's gonna happen ...

RABB AASRE ...
