Stella Elizabeth Matthews has been a cook in the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi for 30 years. She is brilliant as a cook, and brilliant at creatively padding her salary.............

Ok If I request for the notes do I have to send IMM5744E to my spouse to sign it or is there any other way I can do it without paying and using the form.

If you are requesting on behalf of your spouse, then you will need consent form from your spouse... scan copy will be enough... and only people residing in canada can apply for GCMS... and if you are not citizen of Canada then the fee is 5 CAD... only for citizens it is free... if you do not want to pay fee then you should ask some citizen to apply for you... and in the consent form, give that person's details as Designated person who will be applying GCMS on your behalf...

The union has shut down some services at Canadian Foreign Affairs headquarters in Ottawa, and at about a dozen missions abroad, including services in London, Beijing and Delhi.

So it keeps getting better! Thanks to Mr Harper and his incompetent govt! Its really shocking to see how he doesnt give a s*** about the strike and the people affected by it. Unfortunately not much we can do about this....
