Thanks for your reply, if I shd send documents again do I need to get them attested from notary?
Also suggest if I shd send the payment receipt again to them ? Since the payment was made by me ever before filling the application

Hi Abhay

You dont have to send original documents again but a copy. Its just copy of the proos like fee receipt, medical receipt and PCC.
I have not done it ATTESTED...and havent heard any one doing same on this forum.

May be you can ask SN, W2E ....or someone reading this can help

easy..find out who is your local MP; pick up the phone and make an appointment; or go to their website and send an email; get all details about your file (file number; applicant's name etc); go to his/her office and sign some papers authorizing him/her to get information of your behalf; and wait for call back from them (usually takes few days to a week or more); in most cases they give the usual NDVO's nonsense 'file within processing time' but if your MP can get real answers as to what is the status of your file he/she can...

My husband called up at the MP's office and gave all the details regarding my file....he called up around 12.30 p.m canadian time which is 12.00 a.m IST and whithin few hours they called him back saying my file has been going thru initial review.. but my question is hw come they must hv contacted NDVO at that time?? Dat means they are fooling us...

they get information from call center located in Canada (don't remember the name of the city in Canada probably the headquarters of immigration centre) not in India...and the response you got from your lazy MP is the standard response one gets....

don't send anything originals..you will have hard time getting your originals back from those bozos....you will be ready to retire by the time you get your originals back...don't have to attest anything i didn't do it and no complaints from NDVO about that...
