I applied for my husband on 6 jan 2014 , got AOR on 7 FEB , file transferred to delhi on 19th feb...
My husband got letter from NDVO on 3rd march about PCC and Reciept of Payment .... how long I have to wait ? I am 6 months pregnant and already sent my doctor's letters to new delhi ..
should I apply for visitor visa for my spouse or there are chances to get rejection? ............. i m really really upset I don't think he will be here at the time of my delivery .... its a mental torture , I am all alone here ... I need him so bad .

Dear Lovu71... I am really sad to say to you that the visitor visa has 99% chances to be rejected to everyone in the family category.... My husband just tried to get a tourist visa last year to see his newborn and the Canadian embassy just rejected without bothering.... Sooooooo cruel I admit. And the permanent residency will be issued at the same time as other applicants, so in your case around october, maybe september if you are lucky... I know it doesn't make sense sister, I also suffered also a lot by this immigration process. My pregnancy, delivery alone in Canada, the first steps and words of my son alone in here... Sooo difficult... My mother helped me a lot with my delivery and my baby, just an advise for you : be with people you love in Canada, while welcoming a baby and waiting for your husband... best of luck...

Still status is Application received. I am unable to see my medical received.

But i have sent my medical with my file. is it required to update in my status by CIC, or they may update after In Process

I read somebody's post that they received call from NDVO on saturday... so just wanted to make sure if its true ...

Yes that's right it's true...... My relative recently got her visa approved on sat only.... Got a call from ndvo on Sat. Only

Yes you can go to india without problem along with the permanent residency process. I also went there last year.

I thought this might a good thread to ask my question. I am a 2014 applicant and seeing that for some people it is taking more than 12 months to get spouse visas issued now. Most applicants do upfront medical and send along with application. Now by the time visa will be issued the medical would have expired. Does anyone know if this is being experienced by 2013 applicants? If yes, did you have to re do medical? Thanks.

as per forum here, some time they extend the medicle by the time ndvo issu visa, but some time they ask you to do remdical, its all up to ndvo, very unexpacted
