This is ridiculous, its against human rights, no other countries hold on to passport this long nor processing time is this long. This is 21st Century, if Canadian minister had to stay away from his family for 13 months, how does he feel like ? UK, Australia all the most of developed world has time limits for spouse visa. Why don't they hire more employees, they are harassing and troubling own Canadian Citizens, on top of that I don't get it... they have CAP for Spouse visa, I can understand CAP on skill immigration. But why on Spouse Visa ?

becoz some country like eroupe is asking to apostile/attestation on orginal marriage certificate from ministry of external affairs...to prove tht is orginal not a fake marriage certificate. ..

the amount of peoples apply for visa, less than that they have peoples working In the office, they should get more man at work so the process can get speed and more visas can come through fast...
may b 1 man would be looking after 500 applicationg... that's worst way if working... they don't even touch file for 8 months or more after receiving it...
such a slow painfull and awefull process..
abey ndvo... wake up from this slow process get some new gadgets, use some new tech. faster peoples, faster process...

oh well thanks for clearing that... I don't think ndvo ask it to do... well I hope so, but ndvo is always unpredictable don't know what they ask from peoples even we submit every thing according to websites they have listed.

Let's just hope that this week is not full of disappointment like all the other past weeks. Hopefully they finish July (including us and all other skipped applications) this week, although I have been saying that for the past 2 weeks

They even don't know what they doing !! its all mess created by current government conservative party. This is not at all good practice especially for family sponsorship, they are troubling normal people, even pregnant ladies are suffering to prove genuine relationship, what kind of government is this ? They can't keep on doing this, go on strike for 6 months and work like snails after heavy fat packages they earn.

OMG.....! Finally got pp back with visa and saw DM a day ago after waiting so long. What a long waiting game! Thank god! I have to say that this is the best forum ever. this helped me to stay positive and patience. Thank you friends for being so positive and sharing your good news with us. I cant forget this. Its so helpful.

Guys, need help!

Since NDVO hasnt responded to my mails for correction of re-assessment of medicals, I'm sending them a courier with their mail, a cover letter for correction and proof of all previois communications from them.

Question is whom do i address it to? Specifically the Health Dept or generally just the High Commission of Canada? And shoulld I mention that i've also sent e-mails in the same regard with no response?

Please help! Would like to send it out this eve if possible!

You can address the letter To The Officer , High Commission of Canada. You can mention them that you have sent them an email but did not received any reply from them.

Passport Requested 4th September 2013

still I found my status Application received.

You file has been received on dated 9th July 2013.

When it would be in In process . Is they Put status in Process in CIC or directly Call or DM

You should apply for GCMS notes to see what is happening with your file. If all is good you should get DM soonnn
