I believe that there are no red flags, we both have same education level, both belong to same caste, similar family backgrounds, age difference is only 4 years, every single person from both sides attended the marriage, it was a full out marriage with nothing held back, sent them more than 200 pictures, what's app chat history which was a couple hundred pages, phone bills . . .

Hey Gagi007,

I am getting tensed day by day my frnd..

As far as i know. i kept my file clear with out any complications...my wife is from the same back ground as mine with 3 yrs age difference, She is working in India as well.

i am pretty confident i won't get an Interview. but seriously man.. i am really getting frustated and tensed..

i applied for GCMS on 10th April ...is it okay if i go with MP Enquiry now or i have to wait till i get the notes i applied.

IS there a chance it's getting delayed because of all these enquires we do on the file..

There is no issue doing the MP enquiry. You can do it now itself or wait after your notes. I would say wait another 10-15 days then do the MP inquiry. As GCMS notes are genertared by ATIP within 2-3 days but they are sent out to you after 30 days.

Hi Taj,

I have similar timelines as yours, Please could you tell me what else you found in notes, is there any initial review info or something useful for us at this stage.

thanks

Oh.. You have sent them sooo many things,,,, thats y they are taking time.... Dont worry you will get DM direct without any interview..... These things should be enough for them to issue you a visa... Did you applied for GCMS notes?

Yeah, they are probably looking at each and every picture pointing out all the beautiful girls and staring at them, and reading each and every word in my What's App chat history and making fun of our conversations :P :P

I need your comments on my case guys, do you think I should be worried for red flags:
Mine is a love marriage, since my husband, already a PR, was in India for 2.5 years, we were colleagues, after dating for a year we got married, and have had 13 months of married life together and lot of proofs. We applied for my immigration 1.5 yrs after our marriage. The only concern I am is about the simple marriage, we had just 20 people in our marriage as we wanted to keep it simple and the biggest worry is my hubby is a punjabi and I am from Delhi, I came to know they point out if a punjabi's marriage has less than 300 crowd.
otherwise, we are equally educated, I am 5 years younger, but we are inter caste too.

Please advise me as I cannot figure out if I have a strong or weak case coz I have got a sine wave variations in my case.

thank you

It looks good to me, the 20 people thing should be okay, you have lots of proofs, you've been in a relationship for a long time so the inter-cast thing and age difference doesn't matter, many many people decide to have a simple marriage, which is perfectly fine, mine on the other hand was 600 people ! ! ! ! ! ! :P :P :P , don't worry, it all looks good :)

Hi Neha2515

Should be all good. As you guys are together 1 and half year.. you should have submitted strong prrofs . Doesn,t matter how manay ppl attended as ppl get married as they want it. there is nothing this many ppl have to be there.

Your husband being from Punjab...they might look in to it if there is any doubts in your relationship . but u guys are together for more than an year and submitted enough proof's.

be positive..u'll be good..

Good luck!

Hey Neha, dont worryas long as you provide them with enough relationship proofs it should be ok. Even i dint have a lot of people for my weding. We just had 35 people very close relatives, my best friends and parents. I dint want faaltu ka crowd just wanted people who actualy would be happy in my happiness so i guess it shouldbe fine.

It's wayyyyyyy easier to make an appointment with your local MP and do an MP inquiry, takes 3-5 days max, and it's free. Just go to your MP and tell him/her that you want to do an inquiry regarding your spousal visa application, he/she will give you a form to fill out (it will include your file number, date of birth, etc etc), and that's it

I emailed my MP and his reply was what I already know!!

"Thank you for reaching the office of Mike Sullivan, Member of Parliament for York South-Weston. I have contacted CIC on your behalf and they have informed me that your file # is: XXXXXXX.
That it has been approved the first step of the process on August 22, 2013. It is on the second stage of the process: Medical is valid till July 25th, 2014. It takes 13 months to complete the file starting August 22nd, 2013. It is now waiting an officer to receive then file. Let’s know if there is anything we can do to help you."

Online says my application has ben received on July 25.. but the email I got from says they count 13 months from August 22nd.. so am i an August or July applicant?
