Hi,

Any July applicant received a letter from NDVO to submit Job letter and banks statement to prove your presence in Canada ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Not I am aware of, But dnt be tensed. they just want the sponsor to be present in Canada (SHort visits to meet spouse still allowed). THey just want to make sure that sponser is not using govt funds to sponsor spouse and has a stable job and residence in Canada

thats crazy why they are asking again. Anyway just submit that ASAP again and email them. Since they touched your file and I am sure you will go to IP soon. Dont worry and wish you a speedy visa.

Hello Chinmaye

Buddy they dont need these docs to veryfy financial capability, they just want to confirm sponser presence in canada after getting married as per their rules and also to make sure if sponser still have job and place to live in canada

As I have been reading, there is a time limit for how long we can go back to India for? I never knew that! >:( ... is that for all Canadian PR holders and Citizens as well?.... why would they restrict us from being with our spouse (more than 2 weeks) while we wait for the process to be over!?... so weird. :o

DOnt worry about it as long as you still hold a job and a place to live in Canada. I know one of my friend who is july applicant and got the visa already and she went to india 2 times after marriage to meet her husband for atleast a month each time

great..thank you abhishekgoel007 for your response.........hoping to return back with my husband in july or august :) :)

All the best with your file :) :)

unfortunately i heard this in the forum but i have not read on CIC website. so i called MP so they said as long as you can prove that your intention is to come back to Canada then there should not be problem..like a permanent job etc..

I booked my flight and I am eagerly waiting to see my spouse...so i am just going to take a chance and go. God know what will happen now...instead of looking forward to my trip i am just nervous to see my spouse now...lol

have a great time with your partner in India Buddy

That's good your going to meet your husband. :) ... Did your MP give you any other information or advice? In January, I met with my MP as well, to inquire about my case, the response they received back was from the head aministrative assistant there. It was a generic response, saying that they are continuing to meet their service standard of finalizing over 80% of applications within 6 months, its been over 6 months for me, and for many of the other writers on this forum, so obviously they are delayed. I know we just need to wait, but it's reallllly hard!!!

I want to do a Case Specific Inquiry to NDVO, but im nervous that they might delay opening my case even more! :(

Any tips?

hello buddy

thanks for the info.. WHo is your MP?

Yeah, I was thinking about that, but that will just help me in tracking the status of my application right?

Basically, I am pregnant, and my delivery date is in June, I really want my husband to be here for the birth of our baby...but i am SO confused as to what I can do! Thats why I went to my MP, told him my situation, 2 months ago, they sent my medical information to NDVO to see if they could do anytihng, they told us that they finalize over 80% cases in 6 months... this is month # 7 for our application- and my pregnancy. ???

I applied in September, and I know that a lot of July applicants are being approved, I also understand that there are not too many files for August and September, so Im hoping it will go through soon... but then I see that there are still applicants from June or earlier still waiting- and it makes me a bit nervous..

I spoke to a consultant and they advised me to do the Case Specific Inquiry, coz it gives me a place to enter my concern, and attach doctor's note, but I dont want that to hurt my application, coz I cant afford any more delay!! :'(

I know.... a lot of information. -__- *Sorry for the essay! ^

I can understand your suffering buddy, But the way NDVO is working since last 10 days which is remarkable and if they continue the same pace you will get the visa within a month

Heyy..thank you so much for ur reply! Its nice to hear some positive words about CIC and their progress..i really hope they do process it within one month! ...all we can do is pray for the best!!! Its extremely hard going through all of this waiting...oh well..

Anyways, tonight im going to email them, explain the situation..and prayyyy that they might open the file for atleast some sort of review!

Its really hard to sign in e-cas every day praying the status changes to "In Process"...and then seeing same "Application Received".....maybe soon! *fingers crossed*
