Hello Everyone,
I got my PPR in the month of Jan 14 . I submitted my passports along with landing fee in Feb and gave the medicals in Mar 14 .

When I check my e-cas status it shows nothing . Is this normal ?

After how much time I can expect would my application be available in e-cas ?

It should say something on ecas like we received your application for permanent residence on (mm.dd.yy) after your application got approval. Does it say that too?

I got In Process on March 6th 2014..

Waiting for DM as soon as possible with god's grace... My Best wishes to everyone in the forum...

We received passport with VISA today.

Last 3 Mondays have been lucky for us. We have been regularly checking out e-cas everyday:

First Monday Feb 24th - we got updated on e-cas for medical results received
Second Monday Mar 3rd - We got DM but as per e-cas update file went in IP on 28th Feb
Third Monday Mar 10th - Passport received with visa.

Only thing that we did extra without NDVO request was to send out the Quebec Selection Certificate before hand with all to-date call details, emails, letters, card and a formal letter to NDVO. Previously, we had just submitted our application with 1 month of call details and lots of pics, and some bills & receipts. We submitted application 2 months after wedding. We got DM 1 month before our wedding date. So people who are waiting my advise would be to submit additional details of ongoing relation without NDVO even ask you to do so, as it really help to reach a quick decision by NDVO. Also, it make their lives easier. Take care guyzzzz, and good luck to all waiting applicants - especially mangess, i wish god give you some good news in coming week.

Sponsorship approved & changed to DM: Jan 8
passport request : Jan 24
Passport sent on Feb 24 and same was received by Delhi commission on Feb 26, 2014.
Status still shows application received. Can someone tell me long does it take fr it to change to DM?

Hello

Right now they are still processing on June and already started on July applicants. You are a December applicant so you may hear an update after 8 months than any delays. The processing times are 12 months in New Delhi but you may hear from 8 to 10 months if the case is normal. All the best for your processing.

I got my notes and as expected 'interview is required' (the usual suspects age difference, family background and previous relationship - before anyone ask age difference is over 10). No condolences, please. I can face interview, it is the delay part that makes me mad. They did not look at my file till Feb 10th. Now medicals and pcc expiring this month and no interview date yet. God knows how long will it take to a get an interview date and if medicals and pcc need to be redone then the delay is forever..then the issue of security and criminal checks have not been started...forum members who have been waiting to hear from NDVO from Feb until now (for Feb 2013 - May 2013 applicants), you will most likely have interview. Order notes and you will see whole history of your lives and why interview is required.

My application is 'In Process'.


I will be quitting my job and relocating. I am aware that I have to inform CIC about the change of address.


My questions are: Do I have to inform CIC about the change in employment status? Also, what is the correct ( and hence most effective ) method of informing them about the change of address? Should I inform them before or after I move?

No need to tell them about your employment as it isn't related to your application but your address change is important and needs to be notified as soon as possible. Send them a case specific inquiry and follow up with your MP to find out if it has been noted by NDVO.

Hi All
My wife got a call today to confirm name, address and date of birth and they said they are just confirming because they will be sending passport.

I had file ini. application to missisauga office, in June, 2013.
They received on 5th July, 2013.

i got letter of confirmation in August with approval of sponsorship and they transfered file to Delhi, India.

I got second letter in September,2013 regarding submission of Passport and to pay landing fees.

Since then i did not hear anyting but i sent an email back in feb 2014 regarding updates, and
today evening my wife got a call from CHC, Delhi to confirm name address and dob as they are sending her passport back.
I am hoping to receive by end of next week by god grace.

status still shows : Application received.
Medical have been received

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET DM AFTER MEDICAL RECEIVED ON ECAS....


Permanent Residence

1.We received your application for permanent residence on March 14, 2013.

2.We started processing your application on February 20, 2014.

3.Interview scheduled for February 20, 2014.

4.Medical results have been received.

Should be within 2 weeks You wait is almost over!

Wondering if they mentioned over the phone if the application is approved and pp has visa stamps? I am waiting since July 3rd 2013 when CIC-M approved and now application is at NDVO. Thanks and wish you and your spouse all the best.

Just want to share our timeline.

Passport requested: August 21, 2013
Status changed to IP: March 07, 2014

NDVO is currently working on July 1st week applications. I am sure you will hear something soon
