Thanks for your reply. When you couriered your passport from Mumbai to NDVO did you mentioned the P.O.BOX as well or was it just as mentioned below.

when I sent my pp I did mention the PO box no with their address........and I attached a covering letter with my file no uci no address phone no everything on that.......all details of my 5 passports ....and mentioned which pp was the new one.....didn't wanna take any chances.. ...and even mentioned that the pcc medical and fees already paid/sent with the application .....hope this helps

Thanks for the wishes, I need some more luck....June 27th applicant goes into IP and there are many applicants awaiting before that, that is so censored word....

the current processing time is 12months but it could be earlier if the case is straightforward and depends on luck too. When did you apply? Wish you a speedy visa.

Seems surreal. After over 11 months of patiently waiting, a change in status:


We received your application for permanent residence on March 18, 2013.

We started processing your application on February 22, 2014.

Medical results have been received.


Now for some more patience. Any guesses for how long?

Congratss!!! your medicals is already expired right? Hope they will extend your medicals and the speedy visa for you. so happy for you after long waiting.

A slight OMG, my wife got a call today from the Chandigarh visa office for an interview in Chandigarh on March 25th. Exactly 1 month from today.

Thanks to Myrah7, Desi-Girl, waiting2exhale and others for helping me figure out the meaning on my gcms notes. Now that our interview has been scheduled, would it be wise for my wife to bring with her, her current passport to the interview?

I need to know what do we need to send to NDVO after we do our e-medicals. Do we need to send them anything document?

your doctor will send the results to NDVO..hospital will give you a receipt for payment of fees.....just to be on safe side, make a photocopy and send it to NDVO with a letter

Are the e-medicals sent to NDVO or to OTTAWA. I believe it will be OTTAWA, as e-medicals records are centrally held, and we can do e-medicals /medicals in any country

Lots of luck to your wife for her interview. Yes she can take her current passport but as the trend at Chandigarh is, the return passport to you at the end of the interview. So she will get her expired passport anyways. If she needs any help or advice, this forum is the place to be. Good luck and I will pray she passes it
