It might be a day off for Indian officers as they have to vote. Canadian officers should be working though, unless they are fake voting under an Indian ID.

i got a fast response frm my MP...wow...and they asked me to sign an inquiry form and send them so that they can do the enquiry!!!

Congratz on ur IP. As per my notes on Nov14, it said 'meds check & then RFV'
If ur meds r updated on ECAS u should be getting DM soon.

Hey good to hear your file is moving ahead. And I wonder if I should try the "watched kettle never boils" trick. At this point I am desperate to try anything. Also, what kind of connection do you have? Is it a high broadband connection? Can it handle many more requests... like the requests of the ppl in this forum? hahaha...
It might take them a week to actually apply the shiny visa and get your passport ready for mail out. so you are almost there, I think next week, if not late this week you should have it. Congrats and all the best!!!!

Hey Anupam, I got the exact same email from them. Looks like they finally woke up. I cannot remember when I submitted the request though. I am getting my wife to sign that form and I am going to reply to NDVO and see if it helps.

Yeah I am going to send it to NDVO vis replying to the email they sent me. My wife is going to sign and scan it to me. I will then sign and scan it to NDVO. in the email, it does say they accept scanned copy of original. So that should be good I think.

Others in the forum, have you gone through this before? and if so, any response from NDVO? any suggestions?

Yes myrah...december 15th i should hear something or 16th. They usually take a month from the day officer is assigned to ur file @ NDVO ( most cases.....some lucky ones get it earlier). So in ur case...give it another 3 weeks..and u should see a DM with PP back ...ia .

Apparently there are 2 officers...one that checks all the requirements and one that stamps ur PP.
Once the checks are cleared...the PP\File is sent back to the responsible officer who stamps ur PP.
